Anyone care to explain? It defies all accusations that it gave the Pats an advantage. Looking at the data, it looks like the deflated balls actually handicapped the Pats for half a period.
Doesn't matter why they played better after halftime. Maybe they had a HUGE lead? They could then play loosy goosy? Maybe they were given such a huge mental advantage, that's all she wrote? It's moot really

No Evidence? How till it be proven?

Did you mean in the same way some players can explain how they tested positive for PED's? Could have been an ingredient in something they ate that was completely NOT their fault right? We've heard that argument -right? Even though the NFL couldn't prove HOW it happened, the end result is the same. And when 11 of 12 balls were nearly equally out of regulation and when the person who draws up the parameters of football's characteristics (QB) is on record as saying he likes an under-inflated ball -and then comes on national TV for a press conference and contradicts half the statements he makes .......there's plenty of circumstantial evidence.

Just like a positive PED test result, the footballs measuring under regulation are both evidential but don't prove HOW. Maybe the NFL doesn't want to know HOW. Because if we really learn how, it's gonna be even worse for you Pattycakes. And the NFL - so yes you might get off easy because of that. And if that happens, public opinion will be 10x worse. Because everyone KNOWS what happened even if it's not proven.

Hearing quotes from players at the pro bowl is very telling as well. They all KNOW what's going on here. You're not fooling anyone.

Can't wait to see ESPN's reaction when the Pats are cleared of any wrong doing. How many careers ended, retractions or lawsuits? PTI alone should be done... Kornheiser equating Belichick to a mass murderer, Sal Pal calling Brady a liar and only concerned about his brand for selling uggs to women, Mort's report being wrong in some very key areas (ravens & Jackson), and finally we get to the always delightful Mark Brunell... I mean how many times can you wrong and contradict yourself in a single segment.

The best part of this whole story is their two insiders Mort and Schefter... Mort made the original report and hasn't been heard from since. Meanwhile, they have Schefter on screen backtracking and reporting on things that directly conflict with Mort's original report.

ESPN is the biggest joke on this planet and their lack of journalistic integrity is pretty outstanding.
The scientist coming out and saying that the weather could of had something to do with this raises one question in my mind.....then why are only 11 testing out to be under inflated? I mean did that one ball just happened to not be effected by the weather??

Temperature of the balls is not a constant, one ball could have been colder when it was inflated, it could have been used less which would result in more retention of air pressure, or the refs could have said we don't like this ball and inflated it more during pregame inspection.

IMO this completely erases any possibility of patriots/human tampering... how is someone going to go through his bag of balls and deflate 11 different balls to roughly the same PSI? How can he sure he didn't deflate the same ball twice? How does he do this without anyone noticing? Extremely unlikely..

Maybe it was the weather, and the 12th ball dressed appropriately that day......

Maybe there are tiny people who are so small they hide inside 11 footballs, and swallowed too much air that day......or maybe footballs go on diets. So many unexplored possibilities. Good thing the league is all over this case, at an unprecedented speed. They have interviewed a lot of people, none of whom we've heard of, but you never know, you start off with the most unlikely characters first, and by the time most of us have lost interest, you might even talk with the primary suspects.

I am sure Goodell and Kraft are having serious discussion over supper, over such matters.

    Manning Rules,

You do realize that all of the videos you posted all pure speculation and they are operating off of the premise that Brady is guilty.

    1. Hines Ward butt hurt patriot hater just pile on to the hate when you have shown zero evidence of cheating taking place.
    2. Mark Brunell contradicts himself and is just flat out wrong. "I never heard anything or had any preference to air pressure.... but I liked my balls at 13 PSI"

Or "deflated balls will be able to be thrown farther"... actually according to sports science they will actually travel shorter because they do not spin as well as properly inflated or over-inlfated balls. But hey guy needs a job because he lost all his money on terrible investments and is now bankrupt... shows how intelligent he is.

    3. Jay Glazer's report... John Harbaugh has come out and flat out denied the Ravens tipped off the Colts or that they had an issue with the Pats game balls. They only had an issue with the kicking balls which are controlled by the league. Guess what the issue was... they wanted more PSI in them because surprise surprise the balls are inflated at room temperature decrease significantly on cold nights. But the league didn't have a problem with in then.

FWIW, Mort's/Kravitz's report on Colt players suggesting Mike Adams and Jackson suspecting the ball of being under inflated was also vehemently denied by both players.. great reporting right.

    4. You picked tow QBs that say Brady had to know... how about Dan Marino, Bledsoe, or Montana coming to Brady's defense. Marino actually did the 11 vs 13 PSI test and could not tell the difference and he has been heralded as "the greatest thrower of the football" in NFL history.

BTW when Brunell did the 11 vs 13 PSI test; he was holding both balls at the same time, in a room temperature room, for at least 5 seconds... its wasn't 40 degrees, taking the ball at the snap and throwing it within 2 seconds.

Perhaps a better test would have been: 5 footballs take the snap and throw the football in 2 seconds. 2 of the balls are under-inflated, one is properly inflated, and two are over inflated. Take all 5 snaps right after the other and throw them in under 2 seconds then tell me which balls were which... my guess is he would fail miserably.

    5. Do you just go back to being a Colt fan when Manning retires?
