I was thinking "Wolfe-like", and if so, that's what we thrive on. Motors up the middle, and speed/agility on the outsides. Good formula!

Agreed.Guys we just got a total steal. In our defense he will be every bit as good as Malik Jackson and he cost us 4 million over 2 years.Means we can concentrate moreso on Offense in the draft too.

Brilliant move. John Elway understands the value of depth. I can hardly wait to see the list of guys headed to TC. I think that puts the roster at 61, so far. I'm wondering if Elway intends to keep all his draft choices to build up to the 90 for TC. I was thinking there wouldn't be more free agent signings, but this may not be the last. Maybe another ex-Texan?

That sounds good and it sounds like a lot of heart, it all consists of heart and that's what Derek Wolfe seems to have. hopefully click has that same type of heart that is what also made Malik Jackson so good I was pushing hard for Robert Kim DG the guy is a big-time talent but if he doesn't have the heart he won't be anywhere near as good as Malik Jackson was player has to have heart and I hope this guy has a ton of it like Derek Wolfe does...

PFF isn't the end all be all of grading, no matter how much some around here claim it.

Not sure how I feel about that. They have had a decent defense but they were never AMAZING. The Broncos were incredible last season so, for me at least, I'd rather we continue what we have been doing and perhaps look to other players to bring in other than former Ravens & Texans. We will also need RB, safety & FB depth at TC. right now all three really need players. There is also the real possibility that we might be big-time players in UDFA signings. We do seem to do well there.

Never said it was, i didn't know much about him so just grabbed some quick data for discussion. 5.5 sacks in 3 years is'nt very good either. But everyone seems high on him in here and since i don't know much ill just follow the herd, im glad hes here!

Malik Jackson benefitted from being part of a pass rush that included Von, Demarcus, Derek and the occasional Inside Backer or DB. Crick, Kollar and Phillips know each other well. The contract is not huge. It's a good signing because it adds experienced depth with a player who is ready to go.

I'm sure RB, S and FB will be addressed in the draft and/or free agency including undrafted free agents. I'm guessing Denver signs about fifteen or so UDFAs.

There are about twenty or more guys currently on the roster who came into the league as UDFAs including C.J, Zaire Anderson, Kenny Annunike, Shaquil Barrett, Kapri Bibbs, Todd Davis, Dillon Day, Bennie Fowler, Chris Harris, Lerentee McCray, Jordan Taylor and Juwan Thompson. Denver has done well in this area.

I really like this signing especially with the group of OLBs we have that can rush and plug holes on the run leaving him to face not so many double teams. The price is great too.

Good veteran depth at a great price and one less need going into the draft. I like it.

Very interested to see the coming salary cap moves
