Game Ball Has To Go To CJ!!!

CJ looked like the CJ from the latter part of the 2014 season! He was fabulous! 20 carries for 92 yards and a TD, plus 47 yards on 4 receptions, and another TD. If this is what to expect, I think we can feel pretty comfortable that our O has possibilities.

And supporting him was a really good overall blocking game from our Oline, FB and WRs!!! It was good chemistry out there.

The passing game will come, but tonight was CJ's night.....and he deserves it!

Siemian did not disappoint. Decent game for a rookie. He'll learn from his few mistakes.

And our D has to be commended for keeping Newton and a pretty strong Panthers team down to 20 points, in a game that many favoured them.

    Good start gang!

He earned that money, lol! The OL opened holes and DT was killer with the downfield blocking on CJ's big runs, especially the screen pass. CJ did exactly what we all expected him to........make big plays happen

CJ looked great tonight. So did Janovich. Good to see a successful run game against a tough front 7. It is going to be a good year.

The o-line and Janovich did a great job opening things up for him and Anderson did a good job of finding some holes and creases and turning them into nice gains. I think Janovich is going to end up being a folk hero in Denver.

My biggest issue with the Booker fumble, he read things wrong, there was a MASSIVE cutback lane on the left side, if he hits that he's still running, instead he tried to jam it up, and the Panthers made him pay. Probably a first run nerves issue, but he's going to hear about it twice on that play during film tomorrow.

The block janovich does when he opens up the hole for cj's 28 yard gain is classic power football and a joy to watch when it's executed like that, if we can keep cj and janovich healthy and get Booker up to speed then we will be successful this year.

    FB Janovich Rocks.

    He was in there ..
    lead blocking his tail off....
and the TD was as hard nosed as it gets.

Kudos to Kubiak and Co. for drafting this stud...
and for using a system that features an old school FB.
