I agree but I don't think he is going to be a double digit type of pass rusher and that's what you want with #1 overall. I think Lamp will be a better player at his position.

          Dan Williams and Tre Jackson

The Oakland Raiders have released NT Dan Williams who in my opinion would thrive in our defense also the New England Patriots have released guard Tre Jackson, a needed camp body who may be better than what we currently have.

The only issue I have is you didn't address ILB. IMO that is a huge need. I was the Broncos on one of the drafts as well. This was my draft...

            1. Jarrad Davis ILB Florida
            2. Caleb Brantley DL Florida
            3. Julian Davenport OT Bucknell
            3. Gerald Everett TE South Alabama
            4. Noah Brown WR Ohio State
            6. Eric Magnuson OT Michigan

I traded Siemian for a 4th, and traded for Romo in exchange for a 5th.

Williams is still good but has stamina issues and the snap count wasn't worth the salary he was taking. If he is willing to take a reasonable contract to share snaps with peko I wouldn't mind that at all.

I don't think ILB is as much as a need as everyone else thinks it is. An Upgraded DL will help more than drafting a ILB high. Once we get DL that can stuff the run on 1st down and an Offense that can sustain drives the ILB play will be better. Plus TJ Ward drops down into a ILB spot with B Marsh alot and Simmons takes his safety spot. ILB is not a need. We got 3 very capable ILB in Marshall, Davis and Nelson.
OL, DL & offensive playmakers are needs. I'd be very upset with any pick outside those categories in the 1st 2 days of the Draft.

I think all but the last 3 picks could make the team but at least be practice squad players.
On offense I only count 5 guaranteed starters and 9 on defense. Broncos only signed 4 free agents so there's room for some young guys to make this team

I would love to see Dan Williams in Denver this season on a reasonable contract. He has had a very solid career and always been stout against the run. According to Pro Football Focus Dan Williams was one of the best run defenders in football in 2015 and that he just had a down year in 2016. He would be worth taking a chance on considering at nose tackle we don't have much talent, and I really don't want to see too much of Domata Peko to be honest.

I would love both...I would much rather have Williams under Peko's contact...as for Gabe Jackson...I just feel we are actually loaded at Guard. Not with talent, but rather depth. But Dan Williams would be a nice signing if he is cleared medically. It would definitely allow us to look at other positions.....it would take Brantley off my board...even though I love Brantley.

I like the idea of a cumulative picks but for me id have used them to trade back up again.

I'd also argue that at the TE spot we are pretty deep there right now. I'd also question Leggett as he has had real questions about his drive.

Also after getting Leary I do not think Guard is a real spot we should be targeting unless a top tier one falls to where the value is just too good to pass up.

Personally for me id like to see us nab specific players in this draft and work on trading perhaps even back into the 2nd to go for quality over quantity.
