Hey, who hasn't written a check with their mouth they had no chance of cashing while getting tossed from a bar as a drunken youngster?

What I liked the most DeMarcus Walker in the 2nd round is that he's ready to play and make an impact this season. He has insane production, experience, uses his hands well to break blocks, knows how to get a fast start after the snap. That's the kind of player you get in the 2nd round. It's a huge upgrade from last year's 2nd-round pick: a raw project that had not played a lot of football, still learning basic technique of the game, coming back from knee surgery. When will Gotsis put it all together? Year 4? Year 5, when he's already playing for someone else? Walker can join the DL rotation from day 1 and put some pressure on the QB.

Mark my words, Trevor Siemian will be much improved after this offseason and will remain the Broncos QB1 in 2017. - Dec '16

    Sure.

I used to tell law enforcement all the time that I was going to shoot up a bar.

Iasiah McKensie is my pick. No doubt Bolles and Walker were much needed additions and the other picks added depth, but despite his size, McKensie is tough, fast and lightning quick. He gives the Broncos a flexibility that they haven't had in many years. At slot, he could give opponent DB's coverage fits and he has the speed to go deep. I watched him play a few times at Georgia where they often lined him up in the backfield either to carry the ball or swing it to him. Good pick, John!

Butt for sure. 1st round talent in the 5th. Everyone was getting on McCaffery for not playing in the bowl game. Cost Butt a few million dollars...

Bolles of course. He filled a huge hole in our oline. He was #3 on my first round wish list.

[QUOTE=samparnell;5574243]I like them all, but my favorite is Garrett Bolles. The biggest deficiency going into the draft IMO was Left Tackle. Now there is a possibility that situation is in better shape. The O

You betcha Sam with the free agents and the Bolles pick we might actually have a chance of having both a run game and a decent mid range passing game.

    I love me some Butt!

Great value pick not only for football talent but the potential for quality posterior jokes.

CP bet with NVthosebroncos that Forrest Lamp will be a solid day 1 starter, barring injury

Demarcus Walker ! He's the key to our line . IF he can stop the run as well as rush the passer. That will free up Von and Ray.
