    Why wasn't RGIII considered?

RgIII could've provided leadership to the young QB's on the roster. Would any of ya'll been against signing him.as a backup? Maybe compete for starting position?

Because he can't play and has shown a terrible attitude during his career?

I think most (rational) people here thought it was a dubious, high risk choice because of his injury history and attitude problems. There were a couple threads exploring the option last year, here's one:

There was a longer one but I can't find it...

Because he's a terrible and fragile QB...

I was big on getting him last year because of Gary's offensive scheme. Not now that he is gone because our system doesn't fit his skill set.

This thread is the perfect example of why we can't have nice things around here. (jk)

I think we're at the point where we have to focus on Trevor or Paxton.

Trevor offers a solid year of experience and time learning behind Manning.
Paxton is the "great white hope" who was drafted in R1.

I don't think we need to add a "cash for clunkers" QB in the mix.

I also think it is important to remember our UDFA and our 7th rounder. While both have challenges they may have some potential as well. Let's be honest Trevor was a 7th rounder and in a season went from 3rd string to starter.

And to the OP. RGIII has a few skillets which are interesting and if out line played better last year his skills may well have performed well here.....in the scheme we are likely going to run here this season as others have stated he is simply just not a fit. I'd also argue that Kapernick is a better QB with a similar skill set to that of RGIII

RG3 would've been massacred on this team. He wants to sling it deep every play like he's still at Baylor, and as a result his completion percentage suffers and he takes a lot of unnecessary hits on top of what he takes as a runner. That's why he can't stay healthy. He's better off going the Terrelle Pryor route and trying to be a receiver.

I have just as much interest in adding RGIII as last summer when Elway went after Kaep...zero

I agree that we need to focus on the QBs we have, the potential/possibilities are there. RG3 would just complicate things even more and isn't likely to make the Broncos better.

What the Broncos do and don't do tells us something about how they feel about who they sign and who they don't. Right now they seem to have four good, young arms headed to TC. It will be interesting.

I'm sure there's a number of reasons like the ones mentioned above. Another reason is Kubiak is still very close with Mike Shanahan, who didn't get along with RG3 in Washington. I kinda doubt Shanny put in a good word to Kubiak for RG3.
