    Wolfe Carted off Field

Derek Wolfe - DL - Broncos
Broncos DE Derek Wolfe was carted off the field with a right leg injury during Saturday's practice.
9 News Denver's Mike Klis reports the injury was either to Wolfe's knee or ankle and "appears to be serious." If Wolfe is forced to miss an extended period, it would be another blow to a defense which lost DL Billy Winn for the season on Friday. Wolfe recorded 5.5 sacks in 14 games last year and is a big part of the Broncos' pass-rush.

Yeah that would be a big loss if Wolfe misses any extended time. Gotsis and Walker are there but it doesn't seem like they would be ready right now to fill the void that Wolfe provides as a disrupter.

I hope it's not serious. Like Miller, it seems like he has made some improvements, physical and mental. Which is scary.

I know they need the practice, but sometimes sitting out is a good thing.

Vance Joseph said in a presser that they don't think it's serious but they are getting him checked out to make sure.

Wolfe says "bullet dodged". I hope that means they have MRI results and it is relatively non-serious.

I hope it is not to serious. That would be a major hit to our D-line. I think maybe Elway should explore a trade for some insurance.
