Broncos place Billy Winn on injured reserve, sign DL Nelson Adams

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have placed defensive end Billy Winn on injured reserve after he suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Bears. In a complementary transaction, the team signed defensive lineman Nelson Adams.

NFL Draft Scout lists Nelson Adams as 90th out of 199 Defensive Tackles available in the 2017 Draft. He appears "under-sized" at 6-3, 287 lbs., ran a 5.10 in the 40, and had 17 reps in the Bench Press. Maybe somebody who followed Mississippi State will know something about this guy.
