    Finally a decent outing from a starter. But still doesnít go down as a quality start because Marquez couldnít hit 6 innings.

    The starting rotation has been every bit as awful as anticipated the first time through the rotation. Except Marquez. Who was solid but still didn't qualify for a quality start.

    The team will take a step back this year. I wouldn't at all be surprised if they finished in last place......

    I would. The Padres are going to be absolutely atrocious again. Not sure the Giants will be that improved either. I think we still finish 3rd behind Arizona and the Dodgers again. But I'm not sure we'll be contending for a Wild Card again.
