Oh and news flash Baphs Elway was interested in Cousins but not for $84 million guaranteed, so yes Denver was not in the running for a mediocre OB aka Phillip Rivers 2.0, puts up big stats with but doesn’t win.
But then again you were lecturing me on how winning in the postseason isn’t important, can you explain that please?
you don't know that, you're making that up. so you're saying elway was just interested in paying a back up starter money because he had one good season in an 8 year career, on a team loaded with talent?

ive already explained to you why judging players based solely off playoff wins is really dumb, there is no hope for you to understand if you haven't already.

why has your god elway and all his past playoff success struck out with every single QB he has ever drafted? how come that past success didn't prevent him from making those stupid decisions?

do you not realize how dumb that argument is? never mind, don't answer that, you obviously don't and never will.

manning being a playoff choker is just a fact, he just was. i say he was gifted that ring because the broncos won despite his poor play, not because of it

    https://forums.denverbroncos.com/sho...23#post5216323

s pretty much common knowledge thats he is the most epic choker in all sports of all time. oh and the only time he has ever had a 4th quarter come back in the playoffs is in that lone game against brady when he went to the SB.

yet anohter epic playoff choke job by the greatest playoff choker to ever lace em up. peyton manning's legacy is.......

    IN......COM.......PLETE...... WAH WAH WAH WAH.......

manning is the worst playoff choker in professional sports history. manning's teams have always dominated in the regular season, against pretty much every team, yet somehow he has a losing record in the playoffs and only has 1 ring in 14 playoff appearances?

    just saying

seems like a lot of playoff wins/loss judgment to me

why don't you bump the posts where i say manning is top 3 all time? if i judged manning purely by playoff wins he wouldn't be a HOF'er in my book.

also, saying someone is a playoff choker or the worst playoff choker is not anywhere near judging him as a player solely on winning. yes manning is the worst playoff choker sports has ever seen, because he was so good in the regular season.

Weak!!! Speak english you call somebody a choker they are not good. Tom Brady and Joe Montana are considered the best for what they did in the playoffs. Its what Qb's will always be judged, and the reason why Phillip Rivers (who has played on some of the most stacked teams ever) should not be a Hall of Famer.

    He is the Browns QB

In case you forgot the Browns relocated to Baltimore in 1996.

Yeah Baphs! Just like your Chargers relocated to LA, except the Browns changed their name, while the Chargers changed from playing in a Football Stadium to a 25k seat soccer stadium hahahaha!

les shapiro covers the broncos specifically, that was my source. your source was a column from MMQB and wasn't even a direct quote from elway, it was cousins' agent who said that elway wasn't a part of the silent bidding wars.

DUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHH???? that is because he was told landing cousins would be a long shot.

if you don't want to believe it then that's your issue. i'm not saying elway was involved in the bidding wars, why would he? he was told to kick rocks before the bidding wars even took place.
My source is now not as good as yours...... SMDH....

Debating with you isn't even worth it. I guess I have to agree with you all the time because YOU ARE NEVER WRONG, right?

He was never told to kick rocks, he knew he didn't have the cap and wouldn't be able to get him with where it was headed. This is a little different than being told to kick rocks.

I still want to see the direct quote you have that says Elway was told to kick rocks, or to get lost, etc.

again, if that were true peyton manning wouldn't be considered a hall of famer. nobody has choked more in the playoffs than him and brady has choked as well in the playoffs, multiple times.

according to your dumb logic that must mean crady is a bad QB? i often ask myself..... why oh why do i feed your dumb trolling?

yeah it's not worth it because you are incapable of being objective. i gave you the direct quote from someone that covers the broncos specifically, who said he was told landing cousins would be a long shot, what more proof do you actually need??

why are you ignoring that and just running with what MMQB said that his agent said about the silent bidding war?? it also had NOTHING to do with money, here is the quote yet again.....

I'm told, @johnelway was told landing @KirkCousins8 would be a longshot. Cousins very concerned about @broncos coaching situation (among other things). So, Elway went after the #2 QB on the FA market, Keenum. Remember, Elway tried to trade for Keenum in 2016
    https://twitter.com/LesShapiro/statu...02629950390272

like i said before, believe what you want but it makes perfect sense what i'm saying. why the hell would elway participate in the silent bidding wars for cousins if he was told landing cousins was a long shot due to things that had zero to do with money??

stop being a homer for once in your life and actually answer that objectively.

I watched Denver’s get punched in the mouth from 2006 to 2008 in Qualcom, so seeing it in a Soccer stadium full of Bronco fans was no biggie, I support my team win or lose unlike MPs to of your fan base.
