Who is the best college player you have seen in modern times ?

Lets say the last 10-12 years. Doesn't matter what they did in the pros, who is the best college prospect you have seen ?

I haven't watched as much college football as most here but mine is Reggie Bush. Every game I watched he just dominated with blazing speed.

Ricky Williams has to be up there for me. Him and Luck.

Edited: I guess RW wouldn’t be modern time?

A little longer, but Marshall Faulk bar none in my lifetime. Last decade, maybe RG3.

Likewise. His Sophomore season was unreal. He still holds the SEC records for passing yards per attempt, passer rating, and rushing touchdowns.

Johnny Manziel and Reggie Bush were incredible in college also.

Vince Young who carried a team on his back to beat USC and Matt Leinart in the National Championship game.

Without a doubt Herschel Walker. Give him the ball and watch him go. The only thing you can compare it to was watching Michael Jordan.

Not modern as the OP requested, but Herschel would be at the top of my list, along with Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders his senior year.

If last 10-years is the criteria then either Jadeveon Clowney or Todd Gurley.

Outside of the ten year criteria but Charles White still stands out for me.

Amazing RB from my local area HS. Can still envision his spin move in the secondary without losing stride.
