Only one pick left. What I've learned is that:

    A) Elway has a lot of faith in Keenum
    B) Elway believes Kelly or Lynch are good enough to back up Keenum
    C) Elway also believes that the O line was fixed well enough in free agency
    D) the WRs are currently not playing up to par. The drafting of the younger versions of DT and Sanders and better versions of McKenzie and Henderson indicate this.

    6. Sam Jones, G/C, Arizona State - C+

    6. Keishawn Bierria, LB, Washington - C+

    7. David Williams, RB, Arkansas - C

I applaud John Elway & Co. for sticking with their guns and letting the draft fall to them. They did not reach for a need at all. It just so happened that the best players available were at a position that needed an upgrade.

The Day 2 picks could pan out very well. I have high hopes for Isaac Yiadom. I think Courtland Sutton becomes a 1,000 yard receiver in four years (depending on our QB situation).

    BEST PICK: DE Bradley Chubb

SLEEPER PICK: CB Isaac Yiadom, LB Josey Jewell, WR DaeSean Hamilton

HEAD-SCRATCHER PICK: RB David Williams (I suppose NFL upside was considered despite lack of college starts)

Sam jones could end up starting at either RG or OC. but he will be really good depth

i feel like sam jones will surprise some people, i think you may have a few picks to low. i really like what teh broncos did

adding tony fumigalli as a blocker to complement butt.

adding some grinders to help our rb not getting td issues.

Hamiliton will compete for the slot spot day 1

sam jones has good bend and technique in at the og. it moves to good pass protection traits for him. which could be very good for us.

Skai is a heck of a player was being projected 3rd round by some. He was leading tackler for South Carolina Gamecocks for four years Would be good pick up.

I view this as a win now draft based upon selecting Chubb vs a QB. That speaks to A and B. It could come back to bite us if Keenum doesn't play well and Kelly and Lynch bust. And if Rosen and/or Allen light it up while we miss the playoffs, that's going to sting. To point C, again, a big risk. Either he's right and the OL holds together, or Veldeer gets injured and Watson is our RT. In that case, Chubb's not going to help us much. I like the draft a lot for what it is - a win now approach. I'm less certain A, B, and C will hold up. To add a point E) Elway thinks Walker will provide the interior pressure we've been missing. Fingers crossed Keenum plays well and the OL plays decently for a season and we can draft some OL and DL next year.

He seems like a head case, but maybe Denver will sign him as an UDFA.
