This, plus he was hired to turn the program around and make Michigan competitive.
Yea he loss to Ohio St. again I mention Michigan has never played State under Harbaugh with a healthy team and as Humcalc said, refs screwed Michigan.

The whole thought that Harbaugh is overrated is nonsense. If anything he has over achieved by turning a trainwreck into something competitive, which has also had a top rated defense since he became head coach.

With that up until now, Harbaugh has been experimenting at QB to find the right guy for his offense. Shea is the best he has had to work with.

I'm not only referring to his time at Michigan. I'm including his time at Stanford as well as his tenure with the 9ers. He is an above average coach. But he isn't elite like the media makes him out to be.

The media doesn't make him out to be anything. They rarely talk about him unless Michigan gets a big win or lose. He led the Niners to a Super Bowl. He turned a team that was one of the worst teams in the league into a Super Bowl contender. He turned Alex Smith into a decent QB. He turned Colin Kaepernick into a decent QB.

Sounds to me like Harbaugh deserves any praise he does get.

Barring a momentum killing power outage, he might be a super bowl running coach. Barring bad calls, an idiot punter, and the existence of Nick Saban, he might have more successful as a college coach.

I’m calling him over rated because he always has two games a year he loses that he shouldn’t. But honestly so far this year he hasn’t had that second one that I figured he would by now. At the time I thought the Notre Dame loss was a bad loss but two months later it’s the best loss anyone has.

I’m not going to take it back yet but if they keep up the current quality of football I am starting to believe they can avoid that second loss to Ohio st. If they do that they’ll make the playoff and I’ll take it back.

I thought he was going to have that loss he shouldn’t have against Sparty but they cleaned it up late.

Honestly my own coach Gus is the most overrated in college sports anyway.
