Official Game Day Thread: 2018: Week 2 Raiders vs Broncos

    Hello Broncomaniacs,

Hope you enjoyed week one of football. It is amazing what a win can do. There was some good and bad to that first game. Loved our pass rush, the O line looked improved. Special teams were solid and the run game looked good.

The secondary concerns me a little, they gave up almost 300 yards to Wilson. It was a Dissly-ing experience.
It's like we cannot cover a TE to sake our lives. Also Keenum did a lot of good things, but 3 picks almost cost us the game. He had only 7 last year, I think he will easily exceed that amount.

That game is over and it is time to move to week 2. So how do we do in week 2 games? Amazingly we are 9-1. It is our best mark of any week. Seven of those 9 wins at home, two on the road. The only loss was at the Falcons in Manning's 2nd game as a Bronco.

This weeks foe the Raiders, who did OK for a half against the Rams, and then got blown out in the 2nd half. Not the way for Gruden to make his Debut in the Oakland home opener. Might have been a closer game if they had a decent pass rusher to get to the QB. If only.....

That being said Carr had a great game with his TE. Cook had 9 Catches for 180 yards. Hopefully we cover him better than we did Dissly. Cooper was basically a non factor, I am sure they will try to change that, and with Martavius Bryant back in the fold, they are hoping to stretch the defense some and open the running game for Beast Mode.

Welcome to Raider Hater week. This is an division game always tough. Gruden does not want to go in the hole 0-2. The Raiders are playing on a short week. We need to play well, come out strong. We need more play out of our TEs an better decisions from Case. WE split the last 3 seasons with the Raiders, it would be nice to work on the first part of a sweep .

AS always Win / Lose or Tie (meh) lets hope for a good game where we emerge healthy. Please follow the COC and watch what you post. Let's make it as easy as we can for the Mods, who always do a great job here. Most of all let's hope for the "W" AS always GO BRONCOS!!!!

Yes, he only had 7 INT last season but he only had 22 TD. He is going to more than double his TDs to 48 this season and he will double his INTs to 14

Just hoping for a good solid Broncos performance and a "W" Vance has so many good pieces on the field, you would almost have to plan hard to lose this game.

Big game for Case today, you gotta beat the raiders, and cut down the INT's.

Such an important game as the division is set to be very tight this season. We'll almost certainly need to win all our divisional home games to make the playoffs.

Agreed. Losing today would be very costly. Our schedule suddenly doesn't seem so easy.

the faiders have a good offense n a big advantage at TE hopefully can slow them down and get a pass rush to...offensively no turnovers control the clock and TD's in the red zone with no stupid penalties and an injury free game
