QB prospects in 2019

I think we have to pick up Keenum’s option for 2019. I also think we have to get a QB early to groom behind him and be ready to be the guy by 2020. Here are the top 5 guys imo that could be available. It would be fantastic if we can use our first pick (likely top 10) on a guy like LB Devin White from LSU or the top LT available and then nab our QB in the 2nd or move back up into round 1.

1. Justin Herbert (likely top pick if he comes out)
2. Daniel Jones (I love this guy, once he goes through pre-draft workouts he will be taken in the top 15 picks)
3. Will Grier (a guy we could potentially move back up to get, probably a mid to late 1st rounder)
4. Drew Lock (maybe the most talented guy in draft, wouldn’t mind him late in round 1.)
5. Ryan Finley (he will probably be available with our 2nd rounder, decent guy to groom)

What say you? If these are our options who do you want and why?

Personally I think I want Devin White with our 1st pick and then Will Grier or Daniel Jones at QB.

Jones is the guy, he has to be the target imo. Nobody that watches film on this guy can say that he will be a bust. His completion percentage could be better but he is still near 60% and that number would be better in the pros. He is the complete package and if he played at any big named school he would be right up there with Herbert for top overall prospect.

I watched the highlights, the guy literally looked like he was being controlled by some kid playing madden.

I wonder if the NFL will fall in love with one game of tape and forget the mediocrity of the past 7 like fans do ? Will be interesting too see if Jones can stack good games back to back this season, because a week ago I didn't hear a peep about this guy when he posted a 40 QBR with less than 50% completions in a game against the 2-4 Miami Hurricanes. He is now a top 5 lock though, gotta love desperate fans.

I don't care about statistics, college quarterbacks post good numbers, it's what they do. I'll talk about the play on the field, you can talk about the statistics, they do not mean anything at all too me and the numbers do not reflect any sort of translation to the pro game.

Wrong, video is far superior and tells majority of the story, the statistics are meaningless in every sense. The behind the scenes mental aspect and all that comes along with that is the only other thing that matters.
