    This is a bogus argument.

If Kelly is the real deal, it doesn’t matter who the head coach is.

Musgrave and the quarterback coach are the two who would have the most influence on Kelly.

If Kelly is for real Joseph’s job becomes easier.

Get rid of VJ. Maybe Keenum is salvagable. VJ is beyond redemption

    Easy, fire VJ!

The HC affects the entire team, which I think it the single biggest problem the Broncos have right now. Case is ruining one position. Vance is ruining all of them, including the coaching.

They can make Joseph's job twice as easy...and he still couldn't do it well.

Exactly.... At this point Kelly is the only thing that could save VJ's job. Yet, sadly he still won't pull the trigger.

Back in 2011, Orton was an uninspiring starter like Keenum, the team was struggling, John Fox started 1-4 before the bye week, then there was a switch at QB and the team found a way to make the playoffs with Tebow. It's easier to get a spark from a fresh QB than a coaching change during the season. Whoever takes over at HC during the season won't reinvent the wheel when there is no time to install a lot of new stuff.

Not necessarily. You can’t expect him to come in and save this travesty. This team is bad and poorly coached. Saying Musgrave has all this influence isn’t comforting. Case was more than serviceable last year and all of a sudden isn’t. I wouldn’t trust VJ to develop this guy Chad...at all.

Bill Kollar would be my vote to replace VJ as the HC if it so happened he was fired.
Well you could also put it a different way. VJ and his staff has failed to post a winning record with Keenum, Siemian, Osweiler and Lynch. Common for all three under VJ is error prone football with a lot more lemons than roses. Keenum, Siemian and Osweiler have all had stretches where fans and analysts were high on them. This team looks like John Fox, Mike McCoy and Kyle Orton has come back from the grave.

The problem that stares us in the face is that all aspects of the team plays poor football and it is very unlikely that Chaddy is the solution!

I say let Kelly start if for nothing else it should force a shift in the offense. You protect your young QB with high percentage passes and running the ball. Kelly isn’t gonna be throwing 40+ times a game. Plus backup QBs usually have some success early so a win or two might just get the defense motivated again.

Kelly has more natural talent than Keenum, way better arm, and he can come out swinging with nothing to fear during a lost season.
Agreed, keep VJ for the rest of the year, Fire woods immediately, Start Kelly.

The defense gives up over 300 yards rushing, and all the talk about the QB. Okay.

just heard on 104.3. Isaiah Crowell now holds the NFL record of highest yards/carry for players with over 15 carries at 14.6. Best in the history of the league.

That's what this Franchise does best.

We're probably in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most NFL records set on 1 franchise from humiliating Super Bowl losses to rushing records to passing records, to special teams records.
