    Von Miller (DPOW)

    got defensive player of week

    https://www.denverbroncos.com/news/v...ac-performance

with the pace he is on this season he should break simon flechers record for most sacks as a bronco this year. he is on pace for 16 sacks and probably his best numbers sense 2012. he may and probably should be in conversation for defensive player of the year.

It's going to be hard to beat out Aaron Donald for that.

I cant wait to see what Von and Chubb can do together with a REAL defensive coordinator, if we get one.

Yup he'd have to have multiple sack games here on out, and we'd probably need to make the playoffs

Completely disagree. Miller has caused more turn overs then Donald. Donald also has an advantage playing on that team but it should actually be pretty close between the three of them. Donald has 14.5 sacks and 3 turnovers caused. Miller has 10 sacks and 5 turn overs cause and mack has 8 sacks with 6 turn overs caused. See about even by turn overs caused I mean either a ff or int I am not looking at who recovered the ff. Either one of these resumes have the chance

no. Donald has been the much more dominant player and he is playing on a 10-1 team. It isn't even a close call unless things change dramatically over the next few weeks.

i don't know you can argue that if he was a completely dominate Defensive player why did kc put up like 50 points on them?

As great of a year as Von is having, it's going to be difficult to knock Aaron Donald off the throne of DPOY. Von would have to have in my opinion 3 sacks and 2 TD's himself in a game to put him above Donald right now. He's on a warpath and is playing on a 10-1 team right now unfortunately compared to DEN. What Von is doing is pretty damn special, this is his 7th season with 10+ sacks. He's already a historic player.

Despite the points scored he had two strip sacks and one resulted in a touchdown. Those plays changed the complexion of the game.

The same could be said of Vonís interception last Sunday. The Chargers were driving and without the turnover itís unlikely the Broncos would have comeback.

I think an argument can be made for Von if he closes the gap on sacks. He has one more forced fumble and three passes defended. Heís also had games with little impact, for example his lack of production vs Ravens.

The media is hyper active on Donald and Mack all season... Von does not get it unless he breaks the sack record or something as significant,,

What is sad is just like Champ Baileys 10 Interceptions in the year 2005 I believe Champ was playing lights out and should of won DPOY however the NFL gave it to Miamiís whatever his name was who was not even on Champs level just another way for the NFL to hose Denver so I expect the same Von Miller will be close however the NFL will go with Showtime LA.
