He was the best qb in the league this year. Only Peyton had also thrown for 5000 yards and 50 tds.

      This is exactly right.

He has the potential. But we’ve seen other QBs look amazing their first year and look ordinary in year 2 like Wentz and Watson. And Mahomes IS a stat hog - lots of times he’ll throw a TD pass to pad his stats instead of running the ball.
Super Bowl Wins: Brady - 6 Elway - 2 Manning - 2 (played well in none and took HGH)

Interesting stat - Chiefs are 3-4 against teams above .500 (4-4 if you include Colts) while the Pats are 5-2 against teams above .500 (6-2 if you include the Chargers).

New QB with a new style..... We've seen one year wonders before. I don't think he's a one year wonder at all but I think until he can do it more than once, he'll be a flash in the pan..... Time will tell.

Well that's it then. The Chiefs should just concede the game to the Patriots. There is no way they can win now.

Interesting stat - TB 0-3 on the road in AFCCG. TB has only won 2 road playoff games. 2-4 overall on the road. Drew Bledsoe won the first road playoff game TB was in so that one don't count. Brady got knocked out of that game. Brady is great at home in playoffs on the road not so much.

Actually you got that wrong - TB is 1-3 on the road in the AFCCG. Beat the Steelers 41-27 in Pittsburgh in 2004. Not great, but this Chiefs defense is nothing like the Broncos defense of 2013 or 2015.

Actually you are both wrong. TB12 won the 2001 AFCCG in PIttsburgh (started and had more yards/completions than Bledsoe) and again in 2004 in Pittsburgh, so he's 2-3 in AFCCGs on the road. The 2006, 2013 and 2015 teams were not some of our best teams, so it's understandable they would lose on the road.

                            I'm just citing the stats.

Bledsoe and mainly special teams saved that game for us, but I wouldn't say Brady did nothing. He played just about the entire first half and left the game with a 7-3 lead, a lead that the Patriots never relinquished. Kind of like a starting pitcher in baseball who leaves the game with a lead - he gets credit for the win.
