    Gase to the Jets as HC?

    Ian Rapoport

    @RapSheet

    The #Jets are hiring former #Dolphins coach Adam Gase as their new coach. He beat them for years, now he joins them.
    Its being reported, Gase to the Jets for HC. Just because he beat them doesn't mean much considering both teams. I think this is a huge mistake, especially with the young qb. I wouldn't be surprised for this to go down hill quickly. We shall see. i wish him well cause I would like anyone in the division to start beating the Patsies, but imo Huge mistake. Time will tell.

    What are the Jets thinking as the Fins experiment was a flop to say the least with the Gase era?!

    Good luck to Adam Gase.

    Hopefully he learned from his experience in Miami and he better hope Darnold is better than Tannehill, which is likely.

    Kind of a surprise move, wasn't it? What does that tell the ex-coach from GB? Sorry, I'm bad with names.

    Hope he does well.

    Mike McCarthy. Imagine. One minute you're coaching Aaron Rodgers. The next, you're not even wanted by Arizona or the Jets. Is the Miami job still available?

    Looks like Flores from NE will be accepting the MIA HC job and Zac Taylor will be accepting the Cincy HC job.

    VJ is DC with the Cards, not Jets with Gase as speculated. So we'll likely see him on the opposite sideline in game 4 of preseason if this old tradition with AZ continues.

    Yeah NFL Network is saying Gregg Williams is who Gase wants as his DC.

    In his personal life perhaps. In the pros he was overrated. Manning is what made him. Yet even so, all he seemed to know how to call was predictable bubble screens in 2014.

    McCarthy got picky and said he would only take the Jets job. Now that they didn't want him he's going to sit out for a year.
