Just posted. Sounds like Kubiak is leaving the Broncos.

Dang it, you beat me to it LOL

This is very surprising!! Obviously the question becomes who is running the offense???

Great news, I didn't want Gary involved offensively here, and I didn't want him bringing back some of the coaches he often works with, great news. I also like that Fangio is having a say on his staff, Elway didn't just hire a yes man and I like that a lot, especially after the Vance situation. I would of loved Gary around in the front office if he was in fact the reason we finally had a decent draft last year, but who knows how much input he actually had.

I thought I was the only one not excited to have Kubiak running the offense. Kubiak and Peyton didn't mesh well because Kubiak wanted his offense and insisted on Peyton Freakin Manning to run bootlegs. I remember one game Peyton ran the bootleg and missed an open receiver, and I thought then he did it on purpose just to subvert Kubiaks offensive game plan because Peyton could have easily made that pass. Who knows if Peyton did it on purpose or not, but that was telling of Kubiak that he insisted on Manning running his scheme as opposed to what Peyton was more comfortable with. I'm glad Kubiak isn't the offensive coordinator.

No one needs to eat any crow... Up until today every media personality in the Denver area said he was going to be the OC because that was the plan, plans change. Don't be so smug about it...

No. Because that was clearly the intent. It sounds like Dennison was the hang up, and that Kubiak wanted him here but Elway didn't.

Well if we can reel in Munchak, that's an absolute home run get. He's the best OL coach in the business, pay him whatever he wants to come.

Klis saying that ........."Broncos hope to bring in Mike Munchak. I can report hope is Munchak as O-line coach, not O-coordinator. He does have family here".........

Not sure I would want Munchak as coordinator having never done that before

That says he'd be OL coach, not OC.

I know very little about this situation, but I do prefer it goes this way.....letting the HC have loads of space, to choose his people. As was brought up in another thread, to be successful you have to provide an atmosphere of sensible organizational structure. Otherwise you start trying to hammer square pegs into round holes. Also, I am good with changing some of the faces from time to time. Unless you are a perennial winner, some change is healthy. In fact, positive change is always healthy.

Dear football gods, just don't let Elway and Russell run that draft room again without a voice of reason. Please.
