Iím personally okay with not getting a MLB. I wasnít huge on bush. I was huge on White but we didnít stand a chance getting him. I just didnít want a QB in the first.

That being said, Mack wilson would be perfect for us and Risner would be ideal

I would prefer they use the later picks on players that will potentially contribute. Lineman, secondary, receivers or special teams specialists. Depth at other positions.

Elway has revealed his plan. He believes Flacco is the solution for at least this year. Agree with the plan or not it seems clear he is going with a win now vet strategy.

The Broncos already have two QB projects in Grayson and Hogan. Both mid round ďprospectsĒ with actual NFL experience.

If they need a fourth they can sign a UDFA for the practice squad this year. Or even take a flyer on a AAL QB or a resurrection project like Kelly. IMO no need to draft a QB this year.

I donít know, they have Flacco who missed half the year last year, and whoís always been pretty ďmehĒ, with really nothing behind him. Remember, even when the picked up Manning in 2012 they still drafted Osweiler in the 2nd. If Lock is there at 41, they might consider it.

Iím sure they would consider it. At some point the value of Lock or even another QB might become too enticing if the like the QB enough.

I just think if they draft a QB that even remotely suggests competition for Flacco undermines the chemistry and creates an unwanted QB controversy.

Not suggesting it is the right or wrong plan, just how it appears to be.

My comments were more directed towards the drafting of a mid to late QB project. They have that on the roster.

Maybe Iím misreading Elway but I think he is all in with Flacco this year. He is hoping for a playoff spot not a rebuild. And if Flacco plays badly or gets hurt he is willing to play those cards dealt.

Accept the losses and be in the top 10 again to draft the new QB in what is considered a deeper QB pool.

We will see how it unfolds. JMO

If I wanted him @ 10, and wanted him @ 20.....why wouldn't I want him @ 41. If we pass @ 41 and he's still there @ 52.....then take him there. Now, getting him in the second round, there wont be as much pressure to get him on the field as a 1st rounder brings. He can ride the pine for a year or two so we can see what Flacco has. AND, Flacco will not feel the pressure either.

Not to be contentious but it doesn't matter what "you" want. It matters what Elway wants.

And it is unrealistic to think that a QB controversy would not occur. That Lock or any other 2nd./ 3rd round QB would not have a loud contingent of supporters begging for the Broncos to play him. This town is so desperate to have the QB of the future we have argued about T. Seimian being the "franchise QB" and convinced that Kelly and Sloter were being unjustly treated.

I've accepted that the Broncos are relying on Flacco. Anything that upsets that dynamic is counterproductive IMO. Riding the pine for a year sounds good on paper but on the field it would be an issue. I'm not expecting Flacco to suddenly be a dynamic top 10 QB. He is an upgrade. A veteran leader that the Broncos desperately need on the offensive side of the ball.I am not expecting the stats to stop the chatter about replacing him by a large contingent that always look at the backup as the savior.

Then again, that all changes with one pick. So what do I know!

Oakland could be in play for Lock.

If Beavis and Butthead like him they just may make a move. Obviously they are going after their guys and want to build around certain strengths. Lock is slinger and they have Antonio Brown now.

It makes a lot of sense to me, as Carr is never going to push the envelope with Brown. I thought that was a strange pairing as soon as I heard the trade announced.

Why? Inaccurate passer with a long wind up. Also another giraffe at 6'7", QB's don't succeed at that height. I get the arm talent and athleticism but I don't even see a guy who could even become a backup in this league.

His accuracy is no worst than lock and people wanted him. So I want I want.

Nope. Like they sad, if the Broncos didnít take him at #10 or #20, they donít believe heís a franchise QB. So if they donít believe heís a franchise QB, why take him at #41 or #52?

    41. McCoy or Risner

    52. Debo Samuel

    71. Mack Wilson
