So Desmond is finally on a hot streak. However I agree with all the sports talk. I don’t see how Bud can justify not playing Tapia do much just due to salary differences. Tapia has been the offensive mvp next to Arenado. And he has his career in front of him.
The money is sunk on Desmond whether you play him or not. Let Tapia play until he shows he shouldn’t be the guy.

Awesome to beat Red Sox in Fenway (which is a ridiculous place IMO)
Overcoming that many strikeouts to win in extra innings is remarkable.
It's good to see the Rockies hang in there.

Can't see us making the playoffs this year pitching hasn't been good, offense is extremely streaky and inconsistent again. Murphy so far has brought nothing at this point dunno if his finger is the problem or if he's just inherited the characteristics of the Rockies offense like Desmond did. As bad as the team seems to be it’s still far too early in the season to lose hope yet. And the offense may be bad at times but they are far better than at this stage a year ago.
