Broncos signing AAF interception leader, CB Devante Bausby

Really glad about this one. He really lit up the AAF league playing for the San Antonio Commanders, which is my hometown. Interception leader and was a complete ball hawk. In my opinion he's going to really contribute to this team.

Has all the tools. Lets see what fangio can do with him. Definitely a sleeper to make the roster with his speed and length

i thought they were signing a qb by your thread title.

doesn't hurt to take a chance on those guys.

Thanks, changed the thread title. He's a good corner that plays the ball and has had significant time playing, which is always the biggest challenge for practice squad players. I'm sure we'll get a better idea of Bausby's level of play in the preseason.

I hope all these corners being signed aren’t a sign Harris is on his way out...

Good deal!! The more the marrier at the position. If he pans out and contributes or best case scenario he becomes a starter then we are set!!

Wow, we're getting really deep at corner.

I think this guy will thrive under Fangio and Donatell.

The fact that Jackson can play corner and safety should also make for some really deceptive looks.

I wouldn’t complain if that happened.

    I doubt it will though.

Why would you want our second best player gone?

I doubt it. Bausby is going to have to make his bones as a camp body and depth beneath Yiadom. Harris on the other hand is an All-Pro and likely Hall of Fame player for us. Elway will probably give him the Von Miller treatment and give him what he wants at the 11th hour

Chris Harris not showing up for offseason workouts is certainly ............. problematic and worrisome. But really, tradewise, what can you get for the guy when all you could get for one of the best CBs in the league was a 5th Rd. Draft choice.

If Chris is gone, then we better trade back and double, maybe even triple dip @ CB

Age and character could be a couple factors?? Harris is good and still in his prime but in a couple years he is going to start slowing down. I want every drafted or undrafted player to start and finish their careers here but we dont have loyalty in the NFL anymore. If we can pick up a 3rd for him is it worth it???
