There's no doubt that Elway is uncertain whether or not CHJ will drop off or not. Last season CHJ was a top 5 corner that played both outside and the slot, and it still didn't convince Elway to extend him. It's hard to expect CHJ to become even better than the standard he set already, so I don't see why Elway will extend him even if he proves to be a top 5 corner again. We should anticipate this is probably the last season with him unless he signs a team-friendly deal.
