    Trent williams

He doesn't want to be in Washington any more. So I would love to see Elway look into getting this guy. When William's is healthy he is easily an elite lt in the NFL. He would also be a massive upgrade over Bolles

1.) We don't have the cap space to pay him.

2.) Let's not give up on Bolles. Let's see if he can clean up his mental lapses under Munchak.

Bolles has proven nothing but he is a lower teir lt at best with his recent play. Williams is one of the best LTs in the nfl, if not the best. i think this would be a huge upgrade. i hope bolles can prove to be a good LT. but i am not sure he will ever reach of the coversation as one of the best.

    I'd settle for average.

Agreed, but refer to point number 1

He also hasn't played all 16 games in a season since 2013. Would have a cap hit of over $11 million and wants a brand new contract, which isn't good for a soon to be 31 year old who's had injuries taking their toll.

Roughly 3M of the avaialble cap went to Harris
leaving the Broncos with: $5,674,788 (Sportrac)

The odds are going forward if Denver needs to replace a player, the acquiring player most likely will have a lower star rating (low cap) or a player who accepts a team friendly deal as Chris Harris did.

Maybe Michael Schofield is available? lol

Trent Williams I read has only played 2 full NFL seasons. Good player, but injury prone. I think Bolles has potential under Munchak, he has shown that he can improve.

That is correct 2 seasons of 16 games in 9 years in the NFL. At 31 it's not likely that he all of a sudden finds 2012-13 and manages to stay healthy.

Bolles isnít so good in pass protection but heís been pretty good as a run blocker. I think he deserves the chance to grow with a consistent amount of years with the same offensive line coach wether it be Munchak or Kuper.

Perhaps Bolles and Risner should actually swap positions though to make life easier on him. I know Iíll be criticized but he may be better suited to play guard.

No criticism from me. Bolles is a liability at left tackle.

I'd be more interested in that move if Munchak can't get him to be able to properly do a pass set consistently this year. Last year he had ups and downs, horrible at the start, very good for about 6-8 weeks and then a tough finish. If Munchak can get him to play 16 games the way he played that stretch I think they'll be on to something.

I would also worry about his size inside. He's listed as 6'5 297, but he's a lean 297. As a guard I'd want him to put on another 10-15 pounds, so that he can anchor inside against the big boys when they try to bull rush him.

But I don't think your idea is a bad one, and certainly I don't think it should be criticized. I'd just give him one more chance with a coach who's known for developing.
