Horrible news to wake up to but I'm glad Mr. B no longer is suffering, Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. RIP Mr. Bowlen

I never met him in person, but I loved the guy. Pat Bowlen was the owner of my favorite team in sports for pretty much my entire life. He installed a culture and sense of integrity into this organization that always allowed me to be proud to be a fan of the Denver Broncos. I'm pretty torn up about this news, but it's not really a surprise. Thank you, Mr. B., for everything, and may you rest in peace. Broncos fans will never forget you and will always be grateful for your influence and leadership of this team.

Many years ago, I used to see Pat jogging on the bike path along the south side of East Quincy, between University and Holly, on a regular basis. I remember when training camp was in Greeley, Bowlen, and a few others, would ride their bikes from the old Broncos Headquarters (wasn't it at 58th and I-25?) up to Greeley. Bowlen was so vibrant, athletic, and alive. It's been a tragedy to see what Alzheimers did to the man, and so many others. What a class Act. And truly a sad day for all football fans.

All that he has done for the organization, its employees, fans and Denver. He forever changed the direction of our beloved team and we continue to reap the rewards and will always be better for it. He truly left behind an ongoing legacy both on and off the field. He was a great man and seemed to be very respected by everyone. I am veeeeery sorry to hear this.

He may truly be the Greatest Bronco of All Time!

Mr. B, thank you for all you did on and off the field. Thank you for leaving us the legacy you built. We are all better off because of you. I bleed Orange and Blue and you may be gone but in Broncos Country, YOU WILL NEVER BE FOR GOTTEN!

                          To you Mr. B.
