The second one featured bad protection on 3rd and 17, meaning he had to hold on to the ball and let routes develop It was only his fault in the sense that the sack prior created the situation.

This game really means little. This team is well coached. That's my main takeaway at the moment. Breath of fresh air since our last staff.

I'm calling my shot now. Rypien will come in and start to gain momentum to become the #2.

I'm actually hoping to see Rypien come in on the next series. Sick of seeing the O do nothing.

Iíd prefer they just let Lock finish the game. Rypienís arm is a joke.

Good to see the D stiffen up and hold the Falcons to a FG there.

It's pretty clear that Hogan is #2. What most people are dreading is the idea of Rypien out-playing Lock.

Processing is the most important trait of a QB. A strong arm is nice but it's nothing without the ability to know when and where to go with the ball...and Rypien has a decent arm, far from a joke.

Rypien was more pro ready coming out of the draft. People need to stop putting unrealistic expectations on Lock right now.

Agrees. Reed looks like our new Shaq and Stephens is horrible

Lock looking a little better on that first play.
