I had to go check, he's 38 years old. He'll be lucky to stay around.

To me I want to see improvement next week, no drops, and starters looking crisp in their 1/2 series.

And anyone that thinks Rypien is going to be the 2 this year might be getting ahead of themselves. But lets hope he looks better next week.
Great perspective. These guys are probably a bit hyped up to play. Lock had a couple of shots to stretch the field and just needed to take a bit off those throws. Obviously lots of work to do. The drops need to get cleaned up.

Like you said the main thing is improvement every week. Im hoping Lock and Rypien both do well with the remaining time in preseason.

Don't forget degenerate gamblers as well. These games are for them as much as anyone.

Woohoo a Schaub pick. His career is over.
I don't know if that's it but his feet do look funny. He's got no ball speed though.

Rypien's balls come out pretty flat as well.

Both set the bar this week. Whether it was where anyone expected or lower, it's where the bar is now. The key is seeing both keep raising the bar as the preseason goes on. I'd like to see both Lock and Rypien make the team. I truly hope they're the Elway/Kubiak tandem for the next 10+ years.

He'll have a job somewhere this year. Teams will look at him as a former starter and/or mentor for a young QB. No matter how bad his resume has been in the last 7+ seasons, teams will look at those two things and fool themselves into giving him a job.

Nice catch there! He's a lock for the 53, how much he contributes on specials will determine whether he's active on game days. Hopefully he can do some damage on teams, because I want to see him play.
