Hi, Broncos fans! . Our Denver Broncos are in the City Of The Angels to play the winless, 0-2, and 2018 NFC Champions Los Angeles Rams. Broncos are playing the L.A. Rams for a preseason game in Southern California for the first time in 31 years, and are also playing an NFL game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Downtown L.A. for the first time in 25 years.
Kevin Hogan is starting at QB for the Broncos fourth preseason game, and Head Coach Vic Fangio stated that many of the starters will be on the sidelines. or play at a minimum in the first half, as the reserve and backup players will receive as much individual playing time during the course of tonight's game.
Those players continue to audition and earn roster spots and move up the Broncos depth chart to make the final 53-man regular season roster . Drafted and undrafted rookie players and signed veteran free agents, will continue their ongoing process on being evaluated by the Broncos and L.A. Rams coaching staffs from the Organized Team Activities (OTA's), in May and June, and training camp and the preseason games in July and August, in preparation for the upcoming 2019 NFL Regular Season in September.
Saturday Night's game is the 11th preseason meeting between the Broncos and the L.A. Rams, Denver currently own an 8-2 preseason record with the breakdown of games at 4-1 at home, 4-0 on the road, and 0-1 at a neutral site, with the L.A. Rams winning 28-27, and played at Wembley Stadium in the London, England, UK, area back in 1987.
