I think we’re also a bit burned out after two bad seasons for the Broncos. If we can see a more competitive team I think we’ll cheer up a bit.

That may be with some/most fans but not with me, 2 years ago I was close to dumping the NFL. I have been a Bronco/NFL fan for ~40 years and these last few years is really challenging me to still be a customer. We'll see how the season goes but this product is really not as appealing as it used to be... To be polite to the NFL

Agreed. I’ve continued watching because of the Broncos. However, I spend more time on High School football locally and watching college football.

Rypien looked more comfortable than Hogan. I know that’s not saying a lot but I’m not sure what the Broncos see in Hogan as a backup. Sure he’s a “veteran” but that’s about it.

At least the Broncos are leading at half time. STs looked better, I was interested in Jamal Carter's play at ILB; I think he did OK at best. Looking like Alexander Johnson will be a backup there? Who else though? I think that is probably the position that has the most ? all the other "rooms" seem pretty well set... wait, not PR but that is something that can be ironed out in the regular season ... IMO
Overall the defense still looks good, even the 2nd team against the 2nd/3rd team.
The few plays Rypien played actually looked better than Hogan but that doesn't mean much. I want to see more Rypien in the 2nd half.
