I donít believe it Liz Frank. He practiced during the preseason and training camp and looked really good however during the stadium scrimmage last summer somebody stepped on his foot and dislodge the screw that was placed there therefore he needs to have surgery to have it put back in place and probably better secured.

My recommendation from here on out is if heís going to continue playing football, he needs to heavily tape that foot.

He's been placed on IR. Tim Patrick is now on the active roster:

Bent screw. No wonder he was in a ton of pain and couldn't cut right. The team really should have IRed him immediately and had him get surgery when it was stepped on and bent initially. Can't imagine your surgically repaired foot would heal very well with the hardware inside seriously compromised. Waiting this long probably did more harm than good in that regard.

Crazy news. You'd think that would have been spotted earlier.

Maybe it was but perhaps they wanted him to wait a see how it healed so he could earn some of his pay this season!

Can you imagine the X-Ray room? Who was the doctor who thought he could play with a bent screw, Ragnar Lothbrook?

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
