What an insane message to send to your team. "If you're talented enough, you can get away with anything." Raiders are such a joke. Either way our secondary can hold him.

I totally agree on that. Shouting racial slurs at someone should be treated with the same abhorrence regardless of what race, color, creed, or nationality is on either end of the insult.

I'd love to have Talib back just for this one game.

    Ejection for both guaranteed!

I've always had a lot of respect for Gruden. But the way they dealt with this AB thing bangs him down quite a few notches.

Even Mike Mayock should really think about moving on. Makes him look like a total puppet

John Gruden finds himself at another fork in the road. First was getting rid of Mack and Cooper who seem to be hard working higher character accomplished players and replace them with AB. Gruden is trying to win at all costs. But you have to draw the line somewhere. I think he's made 2 terrible decisions so far (drafts aside). Decisions that lack character. I get that he's a fierce competitor and that's what makes him really great at what he does, but it seems to me Gruden is almost as bereft of character as AB is when comes to doing what's right. By allowing that behavior, he's undermining his own status as well as Mayock's

    Maybe so.

That reminds of a "What If?" from a few years ago, when AB got injured in the 2015-16 Wildcard Round and missed the Steelers game against us --which was close! Would AB in it have changed the outcome? Do AB and Talib get each other ejected then?

I'm so glad that hothead nonsense didn't jeopardize any part of our title run!
