Ready for a 12 game win streak though!

The discussion is not whether it's a 3-4 or a 4-3 defense. The discussion is much more about what kind pf pressure packages are being brought. A lot of times the team is bringing 4 man pressure package with no blitz which makes it look like Miller and Chubb are in 4-3 DE positions.

Our MLBs are mediocre at best. Jewell is a really good try hard guy but he is not a Romo or a Glen Cadrez. He just has no thump to him.

If this team is going to excel we need to find a MLB that can do it all. They are hard to find, but we need some athletes on this team
Wanting to win does not make you a winner. Refusing to fail does.

Let's see now... what to look forward to? I know I know.

    1. When will Miller be traded (at his request)?
    2. To where?
    3. When will Fangio get fired?
    4. When will Elway get...
    a. fired
    b. pushed out
    c. retire
    d. all the above
    5. When will Flacco ever show...
    a. some emotion
    b. a little emotion
    c. a teeny weenie bit of emotion
    d. none of the above
    6. Will Mahomes have a record setting day?
    7. What stories will the announcers come up with to placate the tv audience for the rest of the season?
    8. Is Mr, Bowlen sadly rolling over in his... etc etc?
    9. I'm tired.

The schedule gets harder from here. This was the easy part of our schedule.

The only game we stand a fighting chance of winning is vs Miami.

Ideally that would be nice. It does defeat the purpose of the entire offseason installing this particular scheme. As great as Fangio is, he canít change the defense radically overnight.

If it looks like a duck, and it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck...guess what? It's a duck. If we have four guys on the LOS attacking the O-Line then it's a 4-something. They're putting Miller and Chubb in DE positions and it doesn't work. The coaches are finding creative ways to minimize Von Miller's impact on the game. So...kudos to them, I guess?

We used to hang our hats on our defense. Now our opponents hang their hats
on us! Our D is a shadow of itself. How did this happen so quickly? I know we
lost some talent but why did we let Wade Phillips get away? Why did we try to
    "fix" what wasn't "broke"?

"What we're gonna do is go 3-4 but make it look like a 4-3. No, wait, we're gonna play 4-3 but make it look like we're thinking about playing 3-4 with 4-3 personnel but really all our guys are 3-4."

Brilliant. Best scene in Water Boy by far.

Remember when we had MLBís like Al Wilson? Bill Romanowski? And Danny Trevathan? Remember when we had Bradley Roby? Aqib Talib?

Remember when we had actual possession receivers like Eric Decker and Brandon Stokley?

And remember when even geriatric Peyton Manning could take us to paydirt at will?

Those days are long gone now.

This isnít a three year rebuild. It is a three year demolition that started two years ago.

This team is as bad as we have ever seen in Denver.

Time for a Sunday Night house-cleaning starting with Ellis, Elway and Fangio.
