I can't get optimistic yet. We've gotta win tonight, we lose and our playoffs chances are still very slim.

Even if we win this game I seriously doubt the Broncos make the playoffs. Last year we almost beat the Chiefs twice. We play them tough. We know them -- they know us. We've lost 6or 7 in a row to them.

But to win this game restores self respect to our guys to the level of pride. It'd be Vic's sig win to this point.

I mean, we win this, we're one game out of first.

We still need to see improvements because we need to average more points per game, but one game out of the lead is doable.

I challenge The Broncos tonight (as if they care what I say!!), because KC is hobbling quite bad, not just Mahomes, and the 2 straight losses to teams who took over control of the game must have them a bit nervous. They too understand the importance of this game. A loss could blow their divisional lead by this weekend, and they can not assume anything going forward.

The blueprint has been copied all over the league, and it would not surprise if other teams duplicate in the best way they can. I am not a Pats fan, but to my knowledge, there is no easy blueprint to follow against them. What? Stop Brady? Stop Edelman? Stop Michel? Stop White? Stop Belichick? Control their D? Too much...

So Broncos....2 wins in a row, D that is warming up nicely, solid run game, at home, potential season changing game....have I said enough? Methinks there is plenty of ammunition in all of that to produce a 3rd straight victory tonight.

Well.....I must say. This team did not look like a team with an opportunity to make a leap.

If I am to be less positive, we got issues.

And against the 27th D in the league!!

Dare I say it.....play Lock when he returns. See what he's got. But suit him up with lots of pads!!

Wow....I did not realize my power. Next time I will be completely negative towards them!!!

I guess the players and coaches had nothing to do with it.
