    2020 draft

`Too early for draft talk? Always comes down to needs vs. best available. Teams that make the playoffs each year have the highest rated O-lines. Broncos do not; therefore position of need and Risner definitely a step in right direction. James and Leary cannot stay healthy so depth is sorely lacking. B Chubb is a good to great player BUT he has not won any games for us and we could have taken Q Nelson with that pick. He definitely helped Indy to more wins, has made all-pro as a rookie and prob will repeat again this year , both would in hindsight have made him a better choice for the Broncos. The two Offensive lineman at LSU - L Cushenberry and D Lewis are reminiscent of Quentin Nelson and M McGlinchey from Notre Dame in2018. We could use both of them, and their intangibles - high character, good students respected by their teammates, both All-Sec, all-American consideration, etc, make them highly likely to be plug and play players. And if Munchak can help them as much as he has done for Bolles the Broncos could be outstanding up front. We need a WR#2 to complement Sutton and on defense Harris and V Miller are both over 30 which usually indicates their formidable skills are going to trend down. The LSU-Oklahoma will showcase my choices for O-line and Cee Dee Lamb as a WR. I like his catch radius compared to Hamler of Penn State who has blazing speed. As a 4th choice in our 5 opening picks a big NT like Javon Kinlaw from So Cal would add depth and spell Purcell. That would make 3 starters and a great back up for the Broncos. Best available CB and speed could complete a very strong draft in 2020. Comments and criticisms expected

It's never too early around here to talk about the draft (unless you are trying to make picks for last year)

We have an pretty active sub-forum dedicated to this that you can find here NFL Draft, Scouting, And Free Agent Talk
