It could possibly happen. Let's say Burrow and Tua go, then Thomas and Okudah. Would we take him? I don't know, you'd have to think long and hard about it.

If we landed him I bet u Von would be gone.

He will be the unquestioned top player in the draft. If he’s there you take him, especially after losing Wolfe, Gotsis, and possibly Harris to FA.

He won’t be an OLB, he will play DE in our defense and be more of a gamewrecker than Malik Jackson was for us. Think Aaron Donald, JJ Watt, etc.

D-Line will be a huge need as well but you’re right, let’s reach for another position of need just because, it’s worked so well for us in the past.

why would young be a de in this defense. he plays OLB or edge rusher. a big part of his game is speed and that is kinda neutralized rushing from an the inside. he is only 265 and i just feel it wouldn't fit our defense we want bigger D-linemen.

They only way this happens is A) He falls to us. B) We find a trading partner to deal Von Miller. But we can't go into draft with trading Miller and expecting him to fall to us because of QB's going ahead. Guy is a beat and all but we have other needs where we wouldn't need to tip our hand during or before the draft. As for making him a D-End...I don't see it. Maybe in Wade Phillips Scheme(still not likely), but not in our current scheme.

He won't play 5 technique and Watt/Donald play completely different positions. Nobody said to reach on players. There are quite a few players that would be worth a top pick....OT, ILB, CB, QB, WR all have multiple players that would be worth it.

and so then we have 3 OLB but no Oline, CB, or ILB. Until the Oline and QB positions are fixed, it won't matter who we have at any other position and it will take at least a couple of drafts to get the Oline position group to a respectable level.

He's really good, but nobody is making Nick Bosa look average right now. lol.
