Take a look at every QB we’ve had since Manning (and even Manning his last year). Awful QBs are our jam. But at least he can survive behind the bail of hay we call our Oline.

I would prefer to give someone with a little more upside for the position as well as someone who will hopefully help the development of our young players on O a chance.. This should now be a season for developing and evaluating our younger talent. We will at least need someone back there who can make some reads and some decent throws when necessary. If we just put a runner back there it is helping no one develope or be evaluated.

I think he’s thrown his last pass as a bronco. Very mismanaged situation, Lock was placed on IR without ever throwing a meaningful pass all the while the Broncos got married to Joe Flacco before he even threw a meaningful pass.

If Kaep comes here and fails, we just brought in a gigantic circus for absolutely nothing. Allen is a fad superior option. For this situation. He could succeed. He could fail. But he's not an attention hog that is gonna bring nothing but distraction. Kaep offers this team nothing positive.

Wow, this is an absolute dumpster fire. The fact that they’re playing ‘fraidy-cat with Lock and put him on IR makes this even worse. Might as well put the finishing move on 2019 by trading Risner. See I disagree. Kaep has for soo long touted that he wants to play again. Elway was already on record saying he wanted Kaep here. The staff have all but stated that they don't want Lock to play this year or they'd have activated him already. If Kaep works out - awesome. If he fails then we bring in Lock, Rypien (SP?), Kelly or Sloter. Honestly the way Flacco was playing I cannot imagine ANY of those guys playing worse. Also if our O-Line is that bad (and I believe it is) then we'd be doing ourselves a favor if we could nab a top LT instead of a QB at the top of the draft.

Given Flacco's comments I think he needs to just be cut or sent to IR.

Sure, the Niners weren't good. But Kaep in no way made them better. Kaep is not good, hasn't played in years, and is demanding starter money.

He had a chance to come to Denver, but turned it down because we wanted him to take a pay cut. We've wasted enough money on terrible QBs. The only way Kaep would come here is if we give him the money he thinks he's worth. And we're not doing that.

There's no sense sinking a few million more on yet another loser.
