    Projected AFC Win Totals

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...h-up-for-grabs

This is Cynthia Frelund's AFC win total projections (going into today's games). She is a very scientific analyst, and I believe she is very credible as an NFL Network specialist. Here is what she has to say about The Broncs:

    Denver Broncos: 4.9 wins

    Current record: 2-6.

    Projected playoff percentage: 3.8.

The Broncos have one of the NFL's hardest remaining stretches between Weeks 11 and 15: at Minnesota, at Buffalo, vs. the Chargers, at Houston and then at Kansas City. And their quarterback for the foreseeable future could be the extremely untested Brandon Allen. Interestingly, losing Joe Flacco for the next six weeks at least doesn't impact the AFC West much, but it does increase the playoff potential of both the Vikings and Bills, who will likely be vying for a wild-card berth in their respective conferences. I'm watching the Broncos' offseason moves closely, as their defense, with Bradley Chubb poised to return from a torn ACL that ended his 2019 campaign in Week 4, has the potential to anchor a strong contender in 2020.

She basically states that we will finish 3rd last in The AFC, but with a good offseason, could be tough in '20. Kind of a bitter sweet review, but not too bad from my perspective. High draft picks, return of Chubb. BUT, we all know what we are concerned about....QB and Oline. So, a good D will be huge, but until our O improves, I'm not buying the "strong contender" description.

After today, I'm thinking this gets an upgrade. I had us down for 6 wins, so I am sticking with it....though it's hard to be tough after a victory.

I projected ten wins so if we win out (which we will) I will hit it on the nose! lol
