    Davontae Harris #27

He made some plays yesterday vs CLE. 2 pass defenses including a TD saver. He also had 2 tackles for loss. It looks like this guy has some game.

The CB spot has been a rough journey in 2019 for us.

Glad 27 is stepping up and making plays.

1 bad penalty but a TD saving play and solid coverage. Excellent pick up by Elway.

He also missed the tackle on Landry’s TD but he had a solid game and has been solid since taking over.

My question is why didn’t we give Chris Harris help? He got torched going 1on 1 with Beckham.

Beckham really only had 2 catches for good gains, 5 or 6 catches in all. Harris didn’t play as well as he could’ve, he had at least 2 or 3 INTs if he located the ball instead of looking at Beckham. Something seemed off with him yesterday but he’ll get right during the bye week. It’ll be interesting to see if he shadows one of Thielen or Diggs and how we help against the other WR.

Again, the concept of playing young players, allowing them to develop on the field, it's a smart approach Elway needs to fully embrace. Harris could be the third player to emerge on this team this year after getting an opportunity to play on defense. Get rid of the overpaid veterans, play all the youth, and re-build this thing the right way.

Used to be, you could get a couple of good years out of hungry young talent like we've seen the last couple of weeks.

Now, the moment someone set himself apart, the contract talks start. Once they get paid, the sandbagging starts.

Kudos to all those who have stepped up, makes you actually believe in the next man up thing.

Beckham is one of the 2 or 3 most talented receivers in the game. I’m not saying Harris is off, I’m saying that’s too much to ask of him. He’s good, but he’s not Champ Bailey.

D.Harris, Brandon Allen, Diontae Spencer, Duke Dawson..... There’s been plenty to complain about regarding Elway, but you gotta admit, he worked the waiver wire like a wizard this year.

Yes and getting Kareem Jackson was a big deal, too.
