Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

There's this little grace period between getting a blood test and then receiving the results. It's a very small consolation for what may be ahead. But in those days, if for example you had a bit of a concern over what you eat, you can go for it a wee bit, without going goofy of course, because the blood test was provided before those few days of "grace".
Yes, small consolation, but it may provide a few days of relative enjoyment while you wait for the doc to tell you what's up.
Just my take.....but if you live a life that puts a priority on facts, you have a better chance at being effective and progressive. Same applies for groups of all sizes.
Add to my list of products I loved that are no longer available. Since the pandemic, I can not find my fav deodorant (not kidding, keep your distance!), or treats our dog loves. Maybe they're gone forever.
Add this to the growing list of my all time "long gone" favs:
- The best crunchy chicken, cheese, bacon sandwich ever at a local restaurant (though it probably had well over 1,000 calories!!)
- My fav shampoo!
- The absolute best Long John pastry.....mind you, that was so long ago, and it was at a local bakery that closed many decades ago.
I know, petty stuff. And just a few of the many things that have disappeared. But I still miss 'em.
Then again, maybe like good ole Chuck Taylors, they will all make a comeback!
Yesterday I found out something I never knew, that the movie Steel Magnolias (one of my alltime favorites) is based on a true story.
Was looking up Tom Skerrit and found this.

Last night PBS Nature was on cats and featured a guy who is actually part of a lion pride in Africa! He pets, frolics, and is licked by lions! See The Lion Whisperer:
I wonder how many awards The Beatles would have won/earned had they performed in an era when awards were common practice. Back then they weren't. Almost every time I here a Beatles song, it sounds good to me.
I am reminiscing after watching a doc on John Lennon's life and, tragically, death. He was my fav, though I liked them all.
But though the awards weren't as prominent, I remember how every time they came out with a new album, they'd dominate the top 10 singles on the billboard.
Great news out of Utah and Zion National Park today-
Missing hiker found today after missing for 2 weeks!
Can't wait to hear how she did it. Amazing news

Nothing like an endoscopy first thing in the morning! Better than a colonoscopy!! (which is on my bucket list of things never to do again!)
I still find it amazing how they can put you out for 10 or 15 minutes, and you wake up pretty quickly thereafter. Mind you, I still feel like I could take a long snoooze!
