I gotta go with Lock for the remainder of this year and then let him have next year as well. After that, he's either our franchise qb or we sell the farm to get Lawrence.

He literally plays nothing like Lock. I know the word is frowned upon around these parts, but he's a lot like a more mobile Tom Brady.

No way would I trust Lock as the long term answer at this point.
    I agree.

Keep throwing out ideas at Cincy and see if something sticks. That should be Elway's plan. We need to get Joe Burrow so we can get back to winning games with a real franchise quarterback.

I play Allen next week to use max amount of time I can to get Lock to practice for 'free.' If he's ready a week from Tuesday, activate and have him start the final four games. Keep Allen and Rypien on the roster just in case it goes completely sideways.

I may be the minority here, but im all for bringing in a FA/trade QB. I hear Philly isn't real happy with Wentz right now.....

Let the Drew Lock 'experiment' begin this upcoming Sunday so we can see what we DO or DO NOT have.

Wentz is the only QB I'd trade for but Philly just signed him to a big extension so I doubt they're ready to get rid of him any time soon.

I just hope we finally leave every other team's trash in that team's trash.

Not saying Wentz is trash by any means but the other possible available FA QB's are trash and/or aren't worth trading for.

That would make the most sense, which is why it wont happen.

Yes, I think he is banged up still, but seriously Philadelphia would have to sell the farm to get a another decent QB as they are still a .500 team. Wentz has been healthy about as much as Juwan James right now.

I wanted to see Lock in the second half yesterday. Allen did not have the arm strength to get the ball down the field. We weren't winning that game after the 3rd quarter, so why not give Lock a few reps?

Denver could likely draft top 5 this year, it ought to be interesting to see which way we go.
