The Pats looked poor against Houston until the late mini comeback. Lock looks like an ole pro. Not even sure where all the skepticism came from, but I got to take the high road. I am "pleasantly" surprised to say the least, how good he looks already!

Sure, this is barely game two, but what's not to like???

Lock is looking special today, playing like a young Cutler in the best possible way.

Two possessions. Two long TD drives, converting multiple 3rd and longs. I know it's early, but Lock has played incredibly well given the circumstances.

Using WRs, TEs, RBs, and FBs in the passing game.

This offense under Lock can be dangerous.

I think the coaches are in the "Save the jobs for the next season" mode!

This is the best looking quarterback Denver has drafted since what?....Elway? Not comparing him to JE, but that has to be the truth thinking about Maddox, Griese, Cutler, Os, and Lynch early in their careers.

He's got the skillet, maybe more refined, of Cutler and the passion of Tebow (yes, I said it).

What I love is that Lock is actually reading the field and getting the ball out.

Lynch would’ve been a deer in the headlights and held the ball to take a sack or scramble.
