Well Bronco fans.
Here we are again after a rare event, A win. It was not the typical way you would expect the Broncos or any team to win. PI with seconds left on the clock. But it was a typical way for the Chargers to lose.
So the 4-8 Broncos pack up there troubles and head south to face the 8-4 Texans. Texans are a dangerous team. Desean Jackson can beat you with his arms and legs and can extend plays. Still they are a team that has show they can be beat and do not always play their best.
The Broncos found life last week under Drew Lock. He made some great plays in the first half before falling into an offensive coma in the 2nd. Our team once showed how erratic it can be from half to half. The offensive / defensive play calling leave a lot to be desired. Lock threw for only 134 yards,2 touchdowns and 1 int. Sutton came up big once again for the team.
Houston is 25th ranked against the pass and tied for 25th for sacks which should help us. They are almost as bad against the run. To add sauce to that they are ranked last letting teams convert almost 48% on 3rd down. They cant get the D off the field. SO how do they have 8 wins? Watson. He has 23 Tds, 7 Ints, 2600 yards and is a flat out play maker. He is mobile , agile and keeps his team in the game where they can over come their defensive lapses. Also Houston has only allowed 14 take aways this season. The Broncos D made Rivers look good last week and we know how bad he is. How much will an actual good QB hurt them?
How do we do in Week 13 games? A very so so 5-5 over the last 10 years. Of the 5 wins, Four were on the road. Of the 4 losses Four we on the road. So we played on the road 8 out of 10 games. Looks like some rough sledding this week.
At this point we are playing for pride. Seeing what Lock can do. Hoping that our coaches are learning their job. Thanks for staying with us, As always please follow the COC and help out the mods. If you see something, say something. Hope everyone enjoys that game and that the Broncos surprise us with an upset win over Houston. As always GO BRONCOS!
