Lots of really special tributes to Kobe over the last few days, including his daughter, and the other 7 individuals who lost their lives. Jerry West talked as if he was a father to Kobe at one point, and seemed like a man who had lost his son. Things that stand out were Kobe's competitiveness and drive to be the best, as well as his intelligence and hunger to find ways to improve.

It's sad because he was a light for women's basketball, and he would have been for the rest of his life. No telling how much this man could have achieved.
