Broncos Country Mock Draft Competition Submit thread and Rules

    Mock Draft Competition

I am gonna run a first round Mock Draft Competition for the Broncos Country Boards. I felt it was a good way to have some fun. Maybe gain some bragging rights not to mention i will CP the Winner. I may CP Top three but i will Definitely CP the Winner. If there is a Tie for first i will CP Both People

    The Basic Rules
This will Only Include the First round. No free agency, no other rounds. Just the First round. Obviously like i said you can Edit your Mock or Change it up till the Draft Starts. So you can submit it after Free Agency has Settled or at least Change it after Free Agency has Settled. So it shouldn’t be a huge Deal.
If you predict a player to the Right team regardless of the spot you get 5 points
If you predict a player to be Drafted in the right Spot but a different team Drafts him you get 5 points
If you get both right the points will stack and you will get 10 points for it
No Trades allowed in this mock. They are too hard to predict and obviously gonna be there. There was 11 trades last year in the first round and they are like i said to hard to predict and not allowed for this competition. But you still get points regardless of a trade if you can predict right I am gonna Clarify if some one makes a Trade before the Draft starts you can include that. just no Trade during the first round or in the live Draft. what ever they come into the Draft with is the Order it should be.
Any Posts that are Edited or Submitted After the draft has started will be Disqualified. I don’t care if it is a minute late before any pick has been submitted it won't count. So anything Edited/submitted after 6 pm Mountain time on the 23 of april 2020 won't count regardless if a pick has been submitted or not yet.
I am gonna be making 2 threads for this 1 for Submitting the Picks only and the other One for Discussion of picks and the challenge.
Also please don’t be rude to other members. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and own way of doing this challenge.
Lastly, I hope Everyone has fun with this challenge. I think this sounds fun to me.

please Only use this thread to Submit your mock. there is a Separate Thread for Discussions.

Like Spice, I can't edit my mock draft, so I am submitting a new one.

            1. Bengals: Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU

Andy Dalton is not the biggest issue in Cincinnati, but he never took the team to the next level in nine seasons. This is the right opportunity for the new coaching staff to get their own quarterback.

            2. Redskins: Chase Young, Defensive End, Ohio State

With Ryan Kerrigan entering the final year of his contract, it makes sense for Washington to take the best player available to form a long-term duo with Montez Sweat.

            3. Lions: Jeff Okudah, Cornerback, Ohio State

Okudah and Desmond Trufant will give Detroit a good pair of boundary cornerbacks to rebuild a secondary without Darius Slay.

            4. Giants: Jedrick Wills, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

Dave Gettleman will focus on bringing help for Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. Wills can be a plug-and-play right tackle and Joe Judge has a connection to the Alabama program.

            5. Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback, Alabama

Miami once passed on Drew Brees because of the injury concerns and still have not recovered from that. This time, they should bite the bullet and bet on Tagovailoa's potential.

            6. Chargers: Justin Herbert, Quarterback, Oregon

The L.A. Chargers might be a playoff team with Tyrod Taylor, but Herbert has too many intruguing tools for a franchise that must outscore Patrick Mahomes.

            7. Panthers: Derrick Brown, Defensive Tackle, Auburn

The quarterbacks push Brown down to this spot and Carolina reaps the benefit. A great gift for a defensive line that currently has only Kawann Short penciled in as a starter.

            8. Cardinals: Isaiah Simmons, Outside Linebacker, Clemson

The need at right tackle is considerable, but Simmons is the best player available and can be an instant difference maker for a struggling defense.

            9. Jaguars: C.J. Henderson, Cornerback, Florida

Henderson is a quality cornerback in coverage, but his tackling leaves a lot to be desired. Jacksonville is thin enough at the position to focus on the positive side and hope for the best when it's time to play run support.

            10. Browns: Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

A shaky offensive line was a major issue for Cleveland last year, shattering the hype created during the offseason. They should not pass on the chance to get an All-American left tackle like Thomas to protect Baker Mayfield.

            11. Jets: Mekhi Becton, Offensive Tackle, Louisville

Becton's failed drug test at the Combine is a concern. However, he is the ultimate "hog molly" with a rare combination of size and athleticism and that offense desperately needs a left tackle.

            12. Raiders: CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma

Las Vegas will likely be the team to start the wide-receiver frenzy in a historically deep class. They need a legit lead receiver and Lamb is the complete package for Jon Gruden's detailed offense.

            13. 49ers: Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Alabama

            [from Indianapolis]

Kyle Shanahan already has a powerful running game that must be respected. Imagine how he will be able to open up that offense with a supreme downfield threat like Ruggs.

            14. Buccaneers: Tristan Wirfs, Offensive Tackle, Iowa

Tampa Bay expects to open a short championship window by going all-in with Tom Brady. They will look for immediate impact here and Wirfs would open the season as their right tackle.

            15. Broncos: Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Denver must add another starting receiver to complete the weaponry available to Drew Lock. Jeudy is arguably the best player available and fits the need.

            16. Falcons: K'Lavon Chaisson, Defensive End, LSU

Atlanta signed Dante Fowler to upgrade their edge rush and will likely continue to work on it through the draft. Chaisson can be a factor from day one on passing downs.

            17. Cowboys: Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver, LSU

Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup outside, Jefferson in the slot. This could be a strong move as Dallas tries to get the most out of Dak Prescott.

            18. Dolphins: Josh Jones, Offensive Tackle, Houston

            [from Pittsburgh]

Miami has started to rebuild the offensive line for their new quarterback, but they still need another tackle. Jones could be a solid option on the left side, moving Julién Davenport to Tagovailoa's blind side.

            19. Raiders: Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

            [from Chicago]

Kinlaw is a disruptive interior rusher that could wreak havoc lining up next to Maliek Collins. Las Vegas needs all the pass rush they can get to stop Patrick Mahomes.

            20. Jaguars: Patrick Queen, Linebacker, LSU

            [from L.A. Rams]

Queen is a three-down linebacker and a great option for Jacksonville, who missed Telvin Smith's presence last season.

            21. Eagles: Kenneth Murray, Outside Linebacker, Oklahoma

Murray is a sideline-to-sideline chaser that can start at outside or inside linebacker. Philadelphia needs help at both.

            22. Vikings: A.J. Epenesa, Defensive End, Iowa

            [from Buffalo]

Minnesota needs a starter across from Danielle Hunter and Epenesa plays with the toughness and motor Mike Zimmer wants on his team.

            23. Patriots: Cesar Ruiz, Center, Michigan

Ruiz is exactly the kind of player New England covets. A solid, safe pick that will give them an insurance at center as David Andrews attempts to come back from pulmonary embolism.

            24. Saints: Jordan Love, Quarterback, Utah State

Drew Brees already has a deal with NBC for his post-NFL job. It's time for New Orleans to start developing their quarterback of the future.

            25. Vikings: Jeff Gladney, Cornerback, TCU

Minnesota will have to replace Xavier Rhodes. Gladney lacks great size, but he is feisty and was very productive at TCU.

            26. Dolphins: Xavier McKinney, Safety, Alabama

            [from Houston]

It would be ironic for Miami to add a safety from Alabama to fill the void left by the questionable trade of Minkah Fitzpatrick. However, it's a pick that actually makes sense for that roster.

            27. Seahawks: Marlon Davidson, Defensive End, Auburn

Instead of overpaying for a hot-and-cold underachiever like Jadeveon Clowney, Seattle can solidify their defensive line by selecting the gritty and versatile Davidson, who can line up at end or inside.

            28. Ravens: Yetur Gross-Matos, Defensive End, Penn State

With or without Matt Judon, Baltimore could add another starting edge rusher. This should be the right range for Gross-Matos.

            29. Titans: Jaylon Johnson, Cornerback, Utah

Logan Ryan has not been re-signed by Tennessee and remains a free agent, while Malcolm Butler has not lived up to expectations. The franchise is well positioned to get a quality cornerback at the bottom of the first round.

            30. Packers: Brandon Aiyuk, Wide Receiver, Arizona State

Aiyuk can be a big-time downfield threat to complement Davante Adams. Green Bay has bigger needs, but the value is tempting at this point.

            31. 49ers: Austin Jackson, Offensive Tackle, USC

With two first-round picks, San Francisco might use one of them to secure a future replacement for left tackle Joe Staley.

            32. Chiefs: Trevon Diggs, Cornerback, Alabama

Kansas City still has some work to do in that secondary. Diggs is a tall, rangy cornerback that has been compared to Aqib Talib.

With no trades, I think the draft will shake out much differently, with some big surprises. I also made my picks based on the teams interests and meetings with players. No certainty but that's the draft. Going bold with some!
