Yup I remember watching drew lock highlights last year and he was one that jumped out for his receiving threats.

This draft is obviously all about giving Drew Lock the best chance of success. Getting his college security blanket and 2 WR proves that.

Still, if its all about Drew.... Why not send this 4th rounder and a 3rd next year for Trent Williams? What will aid Drews development more? Drafting this TE to replace JH or getting TW to replace James or Bolles?

Well.....last year we weren't sure if Drew was going to get a real shot. Fast forward, apparently John wants to make him a very happy young man, surrounding him with all sorts of luv!!

TE is a fine pick, Albert Okwuegbunam super athletic and obvious insight from Drew. We needed to change out the TE room, we are getting more athletic with this pick. Development will be key.

From what i heard Trent Williams did not want to ply in Minnesota. Kyle Shannahan was the OC in Washington when Williams was drafted. Williams may have chose SF over any other team interested.

    That's good to know.

They're currently raving about his speed on the draft's coverage.

Since Mctelvin Agim, I think we are going with players who project well with high ceilings, but need serious development.

Yes Albert O was on my board. Have wanted it for month, reunites with Lock, and we will have some crazy two TE sets in the future. Situational and certain sets at first, but he will develop quickly with easy chemistry with Lock.
