    Ya the money pots are running out, and given his age I doubt he wants a 1 year deal

    Cleveland might be saying all the right things publicly. It views Beckham Jr. as an important part of the teamís future. Thatís all fine and dandy. But rumors continues to persist that new general manager Andrew Berry will look to flip him after one season. After all, he has no built-in relationship with OBJ.
    Enter into the equation a Vikings squad desperately in need of receiver help after trading away the enigmatic Stefon Diggs. Minnesota could use the first-round pick it acquired from Buffalo as well as franchise-tagged safety Anthony Harris to entice the Browns. They have shown interest in Harris already. It seems to be a match made in heaven for both sides.

My concern is that one or even both receivers may not exactly be pro-ready during their rookie year. Jefferson has the most polish out of that 2nd tier group, IMO.

    I could see a situation where we go WR and OT with those picks, too (Mims and Josh Jones would be my picks). I donít think Thomas slides that far, unfortunately. I also see a scenario where we go WR and then possibly a C like Cesar Ruiz with the second 1st round pick. The more Iím thinking about this hypothetical trade-down, the more I like it.
    If we could pull a deal like this off here is what I do with the picks;

    1. OT Josh Jones
    1. ILB Patrick Queen
    Double dip on WR in round 3 and get a DB with the other pick.

    Boom all needs filled.

    It would seem we have a new punter, former Detroit Lion Sam Martin. 3 year deal worth $7.05 million.

    OK, I can rock with that. I'd prefer Murray to Queen if available.

    WR will be the first position drafted. IMO, we will trade up to get the guy Elway wants. Probably Ruggs III.

    The problem with that is draft position. How much do we pay him and will Courtland feel disrespected.

    I know we donít have worry about how Courtland feels but itís n all seriousness the team will be held to a ridiculous standard and questioned to who is the actual starter.

    A fantastic offseason in my opinion. Would love to see them fill one more need via FA then use their 5 top 100 picks on;

    1 WR
    2 O-Linemen
    1 ILB
    1 DB

    1. OT Andrew Thomas, Jedrick Willis, Tristan Wirfs, Mechi Becton
    WR Henry Ruggs, Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb
    One of these guys should be the first round pick, no questions asked, and 1 will be there.

    2. Go with whichever position you didnít fill in the first. Laviska Shenalt, KJ Hamler, Jalen Reagor, Josh Jones, Austin Jackson, Ezra Cleveland are all intriguing options.

    Then with our 3 3rd round picks grab an interior o-linemen, ILB, and DB.

    This is how I hope it plays out.

    Not sure where you are going with this. Don't we need multiple starting WRs? sorry maybe you can clarify. I am not sure what you mean

    Agree with the strategy you are outlining. Those first 5 picks will be critical in building for the year. Going to be interesting if Elway shares the strategy and which players they choose.

    The only thing I would add is I think they need to add a couple vets in free agency to ensure the draft picks are not expected to start immediately. They earn it great, but if they need half a season or more to develop there should be a viable starter in front of them.

    Iíd like to see an OT (and/ or C )and CB added. Then the draft pick can adapt or be part of certain packages.

    One thing I have not seen discussed but I wonder if the lack of that second CB starter could mean a Jackson or Simmons switch from safety to CB? Slot CB? One thing is for sure, Callahan has to contribute this season.

    Elli Apple still a free agent, deal with the Raiders fell through. Imo, Denver still needs one more vet corner

    This year's FA situation is really being impacted given the distancing and other reduced face to face meetings. May even be more before this is through. Could work out for us.

    Would be thrilled to sign a CB. Is Apple the guy?

    Reportedly was in agreement with $6m one year contract. And negotiations broke down due to physicals.

    Depends on what is the physical issue? And still $6m or less?

    Still young (24yrs) and a mid rated CB ( PFF 61st of 113 for what it is worth). Kind of tempting if healthy. But a lot salary in the secondary
