I donít care about Byron Jones but at least Reader, or Campbell, or Schobert may had been a step in the right direction in getting there but no itís better to sign no one while sitting on your hands.

Why are we hearing that Austin Schlotman and Patrick Morris will compete for the starting center position?

Why are we hearing that we may have to over pay Derek Wolfe now to rotate with Dreímont Jones?

Where the heck is BJ Finney or Michael Pierce? Why canít he at least get of those guys to hear him out?

Maybe and just maybe but Perhaps itís because heís nothing more than a cheap skate?

Schobert was never an option nor Littleton, outside of Nate Irving and Jewell, Elway has never drafted a MLB higher than the 6th round. Trevathan and Bierria were late round guys, Marshall and Davis were practice squad additions. Everyone else has been UDFAs or way over the hill guys like Paris Lennon or Keith Brooking. Davis had his option picked up so heíll be starting alongside Johnson.

BJ Finney has only started 13 games and was coached by Munchak. He clearly wasnít high on him or he would be here. Weíre hearing about Schlottman because heís our draft pick and played fairly well last season. Munchak was very high on Morris and he wasnít terrible in his limited action either. The interior was set with Glasgow. Maybe a late round guy to stash on the practice squad.

I doubt we overpay Wolfe or Shelby Harris, just rumors at this point. Pierce is still a FA and probably wasnít getting heavy interest from us until Reader opted for Cincy as theyíre the same player. Danny Shelton is still out there and heís arguably better than Reader. Linval Joseph is still there as well and was always the best NT on the market.

Free agency isnít about signing the most players or the most big name players. Its about getting the right players at the right cost to accentuate what your team is doing through the draft. You will forever win in the NFL through good drafting. Star studded FA classes rarely end in the results people expect. How many big name FAs have the Chiefs signed? Mathieu and Schwartz, overpaid for Watkins and massively overpaid for Clark. The rest of their FAs have been riddled with reclamation projects of former busts and fringe guys.

Why are we hearing about Schlotman competing for the starting position?

Because heís JOHNs un drafted signing not ďoursĒ.

Just like the underachieving Bolles, Sambralio, Garcia, Schofield. Even Heuerman! Heís johns pick not ours, that is why.

All throughout the season we heard them and everyone in the football media basically say ďthey canít replace Bolles because they donít have anyone to replace him withĒ!

Ok so why arenít they looking for a replacement now?

We all know that almost any offensive linemen not drafted by John Elway would be better than Bolles including Donald Stephenson and Menelik Watson.

Geez what the heck was John Elways strategy there? To go out and find somebody even worse than his ridiculous free agent signings?

Well he outdid himself there when he drafted Garrett Bolles, with even a lunatic like Alfred Williams protesting the possible pick at the time.

As of right now, John hasnít done a thing except for moderately improving two positions. MODERATELY.

Is Graham better than Leary? Yes but not by a very big margin though.

Is Aj Bouye is better than CHJ? Yes but not by a very big margin!

Is this team a better team than this time last week?

    Hell no

We are now Minus Shelby harris, Chris Harris Jr, Derek Wolfe, Will Parks, Andy Janovich.

Elway had the opportunity to put his flag in the sand and make a strong enough effort to make a stand on the upcoming season.

Once again he displays the same ignorant strategy that brought us and the franchise 3 straight losing seasons and once again the majority in here is ignorantly backing that ridiculous strategy...

Denver now needs a back up safety, a third cornerback, a starting center, two offensive tackles, an entire defensive line, atleast two more linebackers, (inside and outside) a number 2 and 3 WR, and a much better running back room.

Iím not saying go out spend it all on DJ Reader or Joe Schobert but dang it go out there and sign players. You just mentioned a bunch of players, sure but what the hell is your lazy hero doing?

We all darn well know that only 4, (maybe 4) of his 11 draft picks will actually make the team...

I thought we were supposed to be getting better not moving backwards!

Also once he Re-signs Wolfe, weíre going to stupidly hear, ďWolfe was my guy all alongĒ...

Gerald McCoy just agreed to sign with the Cowboys. Itís clear John has no legitimate plan and everyone else is signing guys left abd right and all around us.

How the heck did Joe Eliss and John Elway the executive ever happen to this franchise? It was such a great franchise!

I donít know if this was sarcasm or not, but losing out on Gerald McCoy is not the nail in the coffin for our franchise. Want to know what a nail in the coffin looks like? Trading away DeAndre Hopkins for an overpriced RB and a mere 2nd rounder. Joe Ellis and John Elway havenít traded Courtland Sutton for Todd Gurley so weíre not dead yet. It hasnít been a full 48 hours since the tampering period started. There are still a lot of decent players out there, and at the end of the day we still have DreíMont Jones, DeMarcus Walker, and Mike Purcell (once he re-signs) that can play on the interior and have shown the ability to improve their game. And thatís WITHOUT signing anyone major in FA.

Once these FA realizes the market is drying up, weíll be able to bring in players at a cheaper rate than we thought previously. You also have to realize that we have already been making moves and actually have less cap room than a lot of people think.

We brought in one of the better corners in the NFL in AJ Bouye, bolstering a position in desperate need of talent and veteran experience. That costs us ~$13.5M this year.

We franchise-tagged Justin Simmons, arguably one of the best FS in the league who wouldíve been the hottest name on the FA market. That costs us ~$11.5M this year.

We signed Graham Glasgow, a versatile IOL who is a great RG and solid C (if needed). Plus he has shown to have great durability which BCMB will be pleased with. That costs us ~$11M year.

As you can see, weíve already spent north of $35M this offseason on positions of need. Thatís a plan if Iíve seen one. Youíre not going to be able to sign everyone you wantó itís not Madden. You win some, you lose some... if anyone knows how that feels and how to rebound from that itís John Elway. Not to mention we have 11 picks in the draft coming up to build our roster or make trades. Itís far from over, man.

Plus the 2018 and 2019 drafts have been Elwayís best draft classes since 2011. Thereís a lot of promise on this roster in addition to our abundant draft capital. With the FOís recent shift in prospect evaluation (which has led to the successes of the 2018 and 2019 classes), Iím sure there will be A LOT more than just ďfourĒ picks that make the roster in 2020.

Iím just as frustrated with Bolles being a holding-machine and a turnstile at times, but with one year left on his rookie dealó itís lining up perfectly to get his replacement in 2021 (which is looking like a very strong OT class early on).

Simply need to pivot to offense in FA and draft defense. Still WRs out there as well as swing OT. Our entire offense is coming back for the most part. Lost two OL gained 2 OL. FB is not needed, may add a RM.

Things are fine unless you are hyper-focused on OL or WR with 1st couple picks.

Did Flacco clear his medicals? I'm assuming that they're planning to release him now so that the added cap space is usable for Free agency?

Who is the second olineman? Glasgow and ?

Or are you counting James? Did I miss a signing?

So far the team has made lateral moves. Possibly slightly better fits to systems run but nothing significant. No holes in the roster have been filled or no upgraded.

Broncos better just from injury returns. Hopefully Chubb, James and Callahan all return and contribute?

Iíve been advocating that Wolfe and S. Harris should be re-signed, cracks me up that so many are now ď settlingĒ on their returns. Hopefully those bridges arenít burnt down by Elways ambivalence.

Team needs to be adding upgraded talent. Not lateral moves and relying on bargain deals or rookies to be difference makers this season.

Just think about this, last year the signed two well known injury history players in Juwan James and Bryce Callahan.

This year they canít must up an extra million to sign ďtheir guyĒ that hasnít missed a game since he was drafted.

It is pretty fair to question and critize the decision!
