As much as I would love to see Slay in a Broncos uniform, I'm just not seeing the fit. Already a ton of money locked up into the secondary. Slay is over $11M and due for a new contract next year,

IMO they find a average CB in the $5M range and draft another to develop.

Going to be interesting ti see how they divide that last approx $20M, I would like it something (loosely) like this: Dline $7.5M, Oline-$7.5M, CB $5M.

Then go into the draft looking for play makers. With this in mind I was playing around on a mock draft simulator earlier and I selected-

    Jeudy WR,
    Dobbins RB,
    Biadasz C,
    Hall CB,
    Dye coverage LB
    Coe- DE
    Adams OT
    Bryant CB
    Tate QB
    Osborn WR (fast, returner abilities)

I am not yet sure what Pitt did to get under the cap (about 8K over) but hoping to hear we sent them a 5th for Heyward. That would take up 9.5m of cap, but Heyward, Purcell, and Casey as base with Jones and Walker rotating in on passing downs...that would be super solid group.

Add Prince for 7M at CB and just roll into the draft. Still think Patrick Queen after a trade down would just complete the D and can focus on 1 CB and rest offense from there on.

I was missing Glasgow from cap projections, so more like 12-13M to spend, with money set aside for rookies.

One of the things they did was restructuring Roethlisberger's contract.
