    Dre’Mont Jones / DeMarcus Walker

Curious what Broncos country thinks about Walker or Jones starting at LE this year repacking Wolfe.

Purcell had a really good year at NT and Casey is a lock at the other end.

The draft we need to upgrade at LeftTackle, Wide Receiver, Center, Cornerback and we need to add depth at S, ILB and NT.

This seems like the perfect season to have Walker and Jones battle it out. This will be Walker’s last shot.

Am I off my rocker, or do you agee?

Let me know what you think...

It's a rotational position, it isn't one guy or the other. Jones seen his snaps increase towards the back end of the season, and Fangio made comments about his toughness being a very desirable trait of his, I think he earned the coaches respect. With that, and the lack of quality players we have at the position, I think Jones will be a regular on the end, potentially playing starter snaps yes.

The biggest thing with Jones out of college was that he wasn't a pro-ready run defender, and needed to work on his body. When the season rolls around he will have had 2 NFL off-seasons, be older, and more ready to play. I think he could potentially be a good contributor at the end, or in a rotation with Casey and whoever else we have. Walker the same, although he looks a little lean to be playing starter snaps at end in my opinion.

You can be off your rocker and I can still agree.

I think it's another situation where if someone becomes available and it's good value you get them. If not I'm OK seeing what they can do. You have to think the Broncos have some faith in at least one of those two for not being more aggressive with Wolfe or Shelby...

I still expect another run stuffer to be added, a guy like Raekwon Davis in the draft. Walker and Jones are both better at rushing the passer than anchoring against the run. Plus we need more bodies on the dline in general. Only 4 guys who have done anything of note currently

I don't mind it. I love to see what walker can do with actual playing time. But at the same time I would be looking at Damon Harrison or Linval Joseph

Doesn't look like it is official but it is at least expected to happen

    That’s a good point
Michael Brockers and Dennard both didn’t sign with reported teams.

I think I have just like Linval Joseph sense he was drafted so I would like him. Either way he would be a two down linemen

I believe Jones and Walker earned Fangio’s respect. Walker resurrected his career with strong impact with limited snaps. With only 20% of snaps he logged 4 sacks, 9 solo tackles, 5 TFL and 1 PD. Jones developed over the season and should be even better this season. Even if Walker as rotational player is definitely worthy of a roster spot.

Shelby Harris resigned so they’re back to being rotation pieces

Didn’t see this coming, especially for $3 million price tag.
I like our D Line going into this season.
I’d like to see them add another big body who can play NT.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we add one in the draft.

Broncos have some flexibility with NT. They have Purcell, K.Peko and several DTs that will fill the middle in many defensive fronts. Including Heath, Harris, Jones, Walker.. and of course Casey.

Finding that massive run stopping NT may be done in rds. 4-6. Perhaps a B.Jones or Fotu? Who knows maybe something bizarre happens with #15 and D. Brown drops or Kinlaw is the choice. Changes the conversations and the flow of the draft in that case.

Davon Hamilton from Ohio State might be available in the fifth round.
